This bike store is the best bike shop I have ever been associated with. After I purchased my bike the owner gave me a free ride on the bicycle training system that is the coolest thing I have ever seen for training. Its unbelievable and the staff here was exceptional. You will get treated fair and these people go above and beyond for service. more

I was looking for an Electra bike, of which Derby has the largest selection in Colorado. I drove up there 3 times & test rode Electra bikes. I rode several of the Townie bikes, but wanted to test one more, the Balloon tire bike which has white tires. They would not let me test ride it because they said the tires would get dirty. I told them I was very interested in this bike, but needed to at least ride it before I bought it. No go!! So I went to Bike Source in Denver who let me test ride it, and I bought it from them. I called several other bike shops in Denver who also carried the Balloon 3i, all who said I could test it there. I think Derby Bikes may feel like they have the largest stock of Electra bikes and so don't need to accomodate the wishes of potential customers. Too bad for them, they lost my business, but I suspect it doesn't matter to them. I have to say that some of the sales staff are less than friendly, especially on the phone. more

This place has an excellent repair shop with the best technicians. They fixed my squeaking seat when no one else could! Thank you Derby! more

I purchased my bike after going to multiple bicycle shops, trying to find a starter road bike that was a good fit for me. Everyone was helpful and knowledgable, but most of all they listened to what I was looking for in a bike and guided me to those within my budget. I never felt like I was being pressured into something that didn't fit me well or was out of my price range. Since my purchase I have had my bike serviced there prior to my races; my bike is always in top condition! I recently had another custom bike fit with Tom and I love the changes I made to my bike! more

This company did not honor my coupon, it was not expired, I suppose the bike shop would rather keep my $10 on a 120.00 repair than have repeat business. I recommend anyone who is interested in this bike shop to beware. Pros: bike fixed quickly Cons: I feel I was overcharged more
