Disappointing. We went to this restaurant partially because of reading the reviews for the other locations. We were seated quickly, but it was at a table with a very sticky crumb covered table. We did ask to have it wiped but that never happened so we just cleaned it off with our dinner napkins. We ordered a ""family style"" meal that included that salad bar, but really didn't feel like fighting the mob scene around it so we just held out for the main meal. After waiting for quite some time for the meal the waitress asked if we were waiting for someone. We were not, and she then informed us that she is not supposed to put the order in for the meal until we have had plenty of time for the salad bar. We let her know that we were not here for the salad bar, but just the main meal. We waited a good bit longer (with empty glasses) for the food. We had fried chicken, potroast, corn and stuffing. All of it was ok but not the ""homemade"" style meal I was picturing. It reminded me of Denny's food actually. The restaurant was VERY loud and there seemed to be an unusual amount of screaming little kids running though the restaurant back and fourth to the salad bar/buffet. We did have 3 different kinds of pie for dessert, two of them were really good. The front store part is also very cute and it was nice to stand by the fire for a bit before heading out-
Pros: cute store, good pie, probably friendly for people with small kids
Cons: unimpressive food, waitresses can't seem to keep up,
