I am a business owner from out of town that has now bought 4 Chevy trucks from John Pickering and all of my experiences have been great. Very professional in every aspect. All deals have gone smoothly. I highly recommend DePaula to anyone interested in purchasing a new vehicle. more

I had the best experience ever at 5/31/2012

I had the best experience ever at DePaula Chevrolet. I worked with Tim and he showed me respect and gave me a great deal. He made sure that I knew how to use everything on the car! I will recomend DePaula to everyone I know. more

Depaula will rip you off with a smile and a pat on the back. Worst Experience EVER. A couple friends and myself were reading their ""Testimonials"" on their website. it was comedy gold considering most are obviously scripted. more

Worst service ever 2/14/2011

They've put 2 fuel pumps in our truck in the last 27 months and today it needs another one. First one lasted 15 months, second lasted 12 months and 11 days. Both just over the 12 month warranty period. Each fuel pump job cost well over $1000. A friend recommended another mechanic. We called him and he advised us that ever since ethanol has been added to gasoline (past 3 or 4 years) it's been destroying certain types of fuel pumps really fast, like ours. He said there are after-market fuel pumps designed to fix the ethanol problem but the dealerships including Depaula refuse to use the after-market fuel pumps. Dealerships are knowingly using the regular GM fuel pumps that can't handle the ethanol problem and they don't care. The other mechanic also quoted $750 to replace the fuel pump again, a clear indication that Depaula is grossly overcharging. more

THE BEST CAR DEALERSHIP EXPERIENCE EVER 10/25/2010

I had never bought a ""NEW"" car, all my cars in the past were bought used and mostly from private sellers. When I made the decision to buy a car I researched all my options and decided on the chevy Malibu. I decided to go to DeNooyer first. I walked into their showroom and no one even said hello, let alone tried to help me... so I left. Next stop DePaula. Before I even walked into the showroom I was approached by a sales rep who simply said hello and didnt try to push anything on me. As my wife and I walked in the door it was like a breath of fresh air. The entire process was non-pressure, pleasent, and overall wonderful. I will NEVER BUY ANYWHERE ELSE ever. more

DePaula Chevrolet sold unsafe vehicle 6/17/2009

My husband & I were interested in a 2004 Chysler Town & Country van that was offered by DePaula Chevrolet. After test driving it, we were informed by the sales person AND manager that they had just replaced all brakes, struts, ect., the van was in great shape, passed inspection & was ready to go! So, we purchased the used 2004 van from DePaula Chevrolet last week, took it to a local mechanic to have it checked & it was a good thing we did! Besides all the brakes being glazed over, drums out of round, the struts NOT new, the SWAY BAR WAS BROKEN!! IT SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN SOLD, NO LESS PASSED INSPECTION! If you are not familiar with a sway bar, it is responsible for keeping the vehicle from flipping over while conering! Besides the fact that we could have been seriously injurd or worse, the same could have happened to our grandchildren, as we took them for a long ride in the van!! The fact that DePaula Chevrolet would sell a vehicle in such condition is reprehensable! When we called to report this to DePaula Chevrolet, we requested that we return the van & get our money back. They refused & told us their only responsibilty was to repair it. Now we have to, once again, pay a mechanic after DePaula repairs it, to confirm that it was repaired correctly, as, obviously, DePaula Chevrolet cannot be trusted! Cons: Will say anything to make a sale more
