My husband & I were interested in a 2004 Chysler Town & Country van that was offered by DePaula Chevrolet. After test driving it, we were informed by the sales person AND manager that they had just replaced all brakes, struts, ect., the van was in great shape, passed inspection & was ready to go! So, we purchased the used 2004 van from DePaula Chevrolet last week, took it to a local mechanic to have it checked & it was a good thing we did! Besides all the brakes being glazed over, drums out of round, the struts NOT new, the SWAY BAR WAS BROKEN!! IT SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN SOLD, NO LESS PASSED INSPECTION! If you are not familiar with a sway bar, it is responsible for keeping the vehicle from flipping over while conering! Besides the fact that we could have been seriously injurd or worse, the same could have happened to our grandchildren, as we took them for a long ride in the van!! The fact that DePaula Chevrolet would sell a vehicle in such condition is reprehensable! When we called to report this to DePaula Chevrolet, we requested that we return the van & get our money back. They refused & told us their only responsibilty was to repair it. Now we have to, once again, pay a mechanic after DePaula repairs it, to confirm that it was repaired correctly, as, obviously, DePaula Chevrolet cannot be trusted!
Cons: Will say anything to make a sale
