I absolutely love this salon! Have been going here for a year now and would recommend it to anyone! I have landed with a stylist that I love. Her name is Mackenzie. She is just great and always has new funky ways to do my hair. No matter when i call the staff there always makes it work for my schedule and hers. I love this salon and it is also very close to shopping so i can do all my errands at one time! Please go try it you will be pleased! more

I love this place! Ignore all the other comments and just try it. I recently moved here and needed a new place. When I called the receptionist was very helpful asking about my hair type and what i wanted to do so I could have the right stylist. I have wavy blonde hair and sometimes it is hard to deal with. She directed me to Wendy and I have been going to her for three months ! I love her but I have also recommended my girlfriend here and she really enjoys Rachel. So I guess anyone is great. The staff is helpful and sometimes you can get WINE! It is a great place please give it a try more

I just got a complete color/cut re-do. Went from natural blonde to dark brown and it looks BEAUTIFUL. The cut/style is unbelievable. I explained to Ondrea what I like and don't like with my hair, and she turned it into the best haircut I've ever had. If you have a vision and aren't afraid to try something new... go to Ondrea. SERIOUSLY - THIS IS THE WORST HAIR SALON THAT I HAVE EVER BEEN TO!!! They charged me over $300 and did not do what I wanted - and I am a professional singer/signed recording artist, so my hair is pretty important to my career! This place overcharges and under delivers so STAY FAR, FAR AWAY!!! Their prices are outrageous and their services suck!!! I have NEVER been so disgusted with my hair color - they totally screwed me and I most definitely reported them to the Denver BBB!!! more

My family went to Denver West Hair Salon. My son's hair looked really bad, his bangs were cut really short (which was not what I had asked for) and they were uneven. The rest of his hair was also uneven looking. When I said I was unhappy with it, the hair stylist was argumentative. She said ""I only cut a 1/2 inch"", and ""his bangs can't be even because he has a cowlick"". The salon refunded my money, and agreed to try and fix his hair next week. An appointment was made. They were pretty rude in the way they handled it. \r Two days later the owner called my house. The owner said that my son was on camera and that he was too wiggly for a good haircut. I responded that they should not have cut his hair then if they thought that it would not turn out well. The owner said that he did not believe that the front desk person was rude because ""She is my wife"", and said that they would not fix my son's hair. He said not to come back to the salon. He was really angry and kind of scary on the phone. \r more

I took my daughter to Tara on the day of her Prom. When we made the appointment we asked for a wash and blow-out and soft waves NOT an updo.\r Tara greeted us by saying she didnt have time for all that but she would do her best. She clearly wanted to give her the standard updo. She was mean and nasty - rushing throughout the process, making my daughter feel terrible. She told her that her hair was in a horrible condition, (which it isn't). \r Anyway, what should have been a happy exciting time, left us feeling deflated and miserable. The work she did was barely satisfactory and if we had time, we would have gone to a better salon. I strongly discourage anyone from going to Tara. \r Cons: Rude, arrogant stylist. Ruined our day and our hair. more

So I went in for mega highlights, I was pretty close to being an all over brown and wanted to lighten it up a bit. As always I love my hair, I feel ready for summer. We did a heavy highlight and haircut, and It looks amazing! They all are so great, I'm a pretty spontanious person so I usually decide I want my hair done the morning I wake up so I just go to whose available and have yet been disappointed. :0) Pros: Great people and experiance! more

Natalie did a cut and color on me. We talked about what I wanted and looked at some pictures first. When she was finished it was exactly what I had asked for! She was really nice and we laughed a lot. I would highly recommend her to anyone! Pros: Listened to what I wanted more

asked for long layers and they are much to short. she was rude as was the front desk lady ingrid. i would not recomend to anyone. Cons: everthing, her attitude more

I had my haircut by Natalie. My hair was at least 4 inches below my shoulder and after she finished it was 2 inches above my shoulders. I thought we had made an agreement to keep it at shoulder length, but her comment was that at least it will grow back if I dont like it. It will be at one year before my hair is at a length that I will feel comfortable with. The hairstyle itself is a diaster, we agreed on a long bob, I have nothing close it, she cut my bangs so thick and high above my eyebrows that I look like a kid whose mother cut her hair at home. Worst experience I have ever had in my life with a salon. Pros: Service was terrible, most horrible experience I have ever had in a salon more

Amy is an amazing colorist & stylist! I went in with a picture of Angelina Jolie & came out feeling like I had the exact cut & color I have wanted for the past few years! She is very friendly & really takes the time to listen to what you're looking for. more
