Very Good Vet 3/29/2010

Dr Wuenches is the one of the best vets in Denton. I have taken many dogs to him and you would never know if he is in a hurry. Knowledgeable and will continue to explain until you understand and feel comfortable with making a decision. Bobbie is the long time receptionist and remembers your pet and their needs as if they were her own. Great place!! more

  • Doctors Randy Wuensche and Cindy Echevarria and their staff are dedicated to providing the best care, diagnostics, and treatment for your pet. Denton Veterinary Center offers complete veterinary services with state-of-the-art equipment for surgery, dentistry, anesthesia and anesthesia monitoring, hospitalization, and radiology. D.V.C treats dogs and cats primarily, but also some exotics, providing the best possible care for all patients. Denton Veterinary Center’s new x-ray machine takes very detailed films, useful for both routine and emergency diagnoses. All films can be immediately sent via Dicom to a board-certified veterinary radiologist. Many complex surgical procedures can be performed in-house, including many orthopedic procedures. Neurologic and extremely complicated surgical procedures can be referred to specialists in the D.F.W area or Texas A&M University in College Station. The Engler dentistry unit allows for ultrasonic scaling and gumline cleaning to prevent and treat gingivitis. D.V.C also offers the new Pro V Seal tooth sealant for another layer of protection from dental decay following a routine cleaning and fluoride treatment. Surgical suite equipment allows for routine elective surgeries, soft-tissue surgery, and orthopedic surgery. Drs. Wuensche and Ingram are particularly interested and skilled in knee surgery–both luxating patellas and A.C.L tears. D.V.C uses only the best canine and feline vaccines manufactured by Schering and Merial. Vaccine protocols are being updated at a rapid rate. D.V.C will tailor the protocol we suggest for the needs of your pet. Please feel free to come by anytime to tour of the facility and meet the doctors and staff.
