I made an appt for an Ortho consult. They were booking one month out. We brought an xray taken by our Dentist to assist the Ortho, Dr. Mikolich, with her prognosis. During that appt we set another appt, (45 days out) to discuss what procedures would be needed. The office called the morning of the appt to cancel and rescheduled 60 days later. I asked if my daughter needed to attend this meeting and was told only parents were needed. We were the last patient for the day and sat in an empty waiting room for 20 minutes before seeing the Ortho. Once seated, the Ortho said she needed to see my daughter to make her final diagnosis. We inquired about the costs and the Ortho told us her staff usually discussed pricing but she guessed it would be in a price range of $2,800-$3,200. In closing, the Ortho told us her office would contact us for an appt to bring my daughter back for another evaluation. Three months passed and I realized they hadn't followed up. I phoned the office and requested the xray I provided, and the misc xray and film I paid for. I was told someone would call me to discuss what I needed. Two days passed and I phoned again requesting my daughters file. Unfortunately, they lost the xray taken by my Dentist. Julie, the office person, told me to call and request a copy from my Dentist. I told her that she should do it because they lost my xrays. Instead of an apology, Julie corrected me, it was not xrays because only one xray missing. Day four, my Dentist phoned to inform me they don't have a copy of the xray. One week later, I'm still waiting for the Ortho to call and rectify this issue.\r

The office is unorganized and the staff is unprofessional! The Ortho should know what her procedures cost. I think 7 months is an excessive amount of time to wait and still not have braces.
