I went to the Dental Expressions in Lake Oswego a few days ago, and it went excellent, much better than any other dentist I've ever been too, and unfortunately, I've had to visit quite a few. Dr. Morrison was very gentle and careful, really concern about how nervous I was, which made me relax and trust her.
The first thing that surprised me was how soothing the environment at the office was. The receptionist was extremely nice and at the waiting area they have lovely music, videos of fish swimming around and even a mini fridge with beverages for patients. Also, it great was the fact that if you go to the rest room, you have travel size toothpaste and toothbrush. I always feel I want to double check before getting on the chair at the dentist.
When it was my turn, Dr. Morrison explained the whole procedure first and even took some pictures of my teeth to explain exactly what would be happening. She could tell that the dentist is not my favorite place. She relaxed me and avoided showing me any needles, and she continuously asked me if I was ok.
