I went to IDE for several years, brought in and recommended other customers, but was dropped without warning for a couple of missed appointments. Cons: Screw you over

You are on schedule.I never wait more than a few minutes from my appointed time and sometimes am called before I am scheduled. I don't even have time to pick up a magazine most times. Everyone is courteous and professional. Mikel is my hygenist. She does a great job and is very gentle. She is good at spotting things to bring to the Dr's attention when he examines me. Dr. Jim VanBiber is a great dentist. I was his patient before he became associated with Dental Excellence. more

Happiest Boy in the World 1/9/2011

Our 5yr old got his first xrays with this visit. Explained wonderful...made fun...and after it was said and done in record time he said, that wasn't my favorite thing. Also, the Dr informed me he had his first loose tooth. Where have I been. lol. On our way to the Soccer game a couple hours later, he was happy still he had shinning white teeth to match is new shinny white cleats. Can't wait to go again. more

Dental Excellence is the best place I have found in the metro to go to the dentist. They are professional and organized. I have always been able to schedule when necessary, and they have a great system of letting you know how much your services cost and your options to pay. Dr. Smith is honest and trustworthy and his chair side manner is excellent. A great place all around. more

I have been going to this practice almost my whole life and i always have great care, every single time. I rarely have to wait at all in the waiting room, and now matter who cleans my teeth, they are always overly nice! I would recommend anyone to go here is they are looking for a great dentist! more

My wife and I have been patients for over 35 years and have always been pleased with the excellent dental care we received and, if we had a problem, the treatment we received to correct the problem. We started there because my wife's boss was a patient and recommend the dental office highly and we have always been glad that we took his advice. We are retired now and live at the Lake of the Ozarks but we still come back to Independence for our dental work because of the excellent treatment we have always received. Donald S more

If you want gentle caring quality dental care, Dental Excellence is the place to go. I have lived in many places around the country and had many dentists, including very good ones. The care at Dental Excellence over the past 10 years has been excellent. They are always gentle and attentive to avoid pain in every procedure, so don't be worried about that at all. The dentists and all the staff take very good care of you. They also use leading edge techniques to share with you and show you your situation, explain what is needed, and how they will accomplish it. They are very efficient and use impressive leading edge techniques. I can watch or watch my own TV above. I usually leave with little after affects. Their nice new facility is also very comfortable for us patients. As far as dentists go, these are the best I've seen! more

My son, Tanner, has been seeing Dr. Carr and Kristen for 6 years now! We think they are great!!! Through the removal of his extra teeth, the tons of fillings, getting his braces, accidents with his braces, and regular 6 month check ups, they have been awesome! They make Tanner feel very comfortable every time he is the...re and always ask him about school and his activities! He loves that he can sit back and watch cartoons on the TV and that he gets to choose a toy from the prize box at the end! Even Dr. Mantegari called us AT HOME after Tanner's surgeries to make sure Tanner was doing ok y. I recommend Dental Excellence every chance I get!! Keep up the good work and excellent patient care!! more
