I decided to get work done with Dent Tek after finding an online entertainment book coupon for 20% off up to $25.00 off. I called left a message after a recording that said I would be called back 15 minutes or less. I gave him 45 minutes before I called back myself. I was quoted an on the phone price of $56.00 and made an appointment for later that afternoon. Upon arrival, and after he actually looked at the dent my quote was revised to $69.00, which is fine, because he hadn't actually SEEN it when he gave me the first quote, so that was completely understandable. I remembered the coupon, and mentioned it, and was then told the price would be 99.00. He told me if I had told him I had a coupon in the first place then he would have given me his ""coupon price"" to start with. I even laughed at first because I though he was kidding... he was not. He stated 99.00 was his minimum coupon price, and the coupon was strictly for body work. Allow me to quote the coupon- "" Enjoy an ongoing 20% off any DENT REPAIR- maximum discount $25.00"" (Yes, even DENT REPAIR was capitalized like that) He became very angry, unprofessional, and for lack of a better word; an a-hole. This guy is obviously using this coupon as a scam to get you to come in and has no intentions of honoring it, beware. I'd rather pay someone 200.00 than to pay HIM 70.00
Pros: next to a car wash
Cons: bad customer service, scammed
