Good: Not much. Bad: Slow service, it was lunch time the past few times I've been in & it was like there was no organization. Maybe not enough help?? but they weren't that busy. They can't always make everything on the menu & the past two times I was in they didn;t have tomatoes. I ordered a BLT on wheat today & got toasted white bread with some lettuce & bacon. Why wouldn't you tell your customer if you could not make a BLT?? I just don't understand.... Improvements: Seems like they need someone to take charge & make sure the staff does their jobs. Someone needs to place orders so that they don't run out of things that they use every day!. more

Denny's Restaurant 4/13/2006

I loike gong to Denny's for breakfast. It's cheaper than any of the other places, and I like going there a lot. The servers are ok; they are extremely busy during breakfast time. Sometimes you will have to wait until you get a refill or get whatever you want. But you can flag them down if you can do it fast enough. I like Denny's a lot, and I am sure you will as well. I recommend this place at four stars. They are located at the Cleveland County Mall near Ruby Tuesday's and Zaxby's. more

Denny's 3/28/2006

I am giving Denny's a three for these reasons. First, every time I go I have to wait for a while to be seated or have to take some place I don't want to be. Secondly, the servers aren't always up to par. What I mean is they are nice and kind most of the time, but there are times when they are downright mean and rude. Further, if something is wrong with the food (e.g. you asked for no mayo and they put it on there), they act as if it's your fault. Now I know servers do get tired. But as a customer, that's not my problem. And, I know sometimes those times aren't because of that. They are just being rude and condescending. Three is a good rating anyway! more

Denny's Restaurant 3/27/2006

I love going to Denny's Restaurant on Dixon Blvd for their breakfast. They are at the Cleveland County Mall. They do great dinner as well, but I think they specialize in breakfast. Whatever you want. They are easy to work with. They have a full menu, but occasionally have specials. My family and I love going there because we love the food. The service can be good, but at other times, it can be very bad. I am giving this restaurant four stars. I think they are that good. more

DENNY'S - GOOD BREAKFAST FOOD 3/23/2006

If I decide to eat breakfast at 7:00 in the evening, Denny's is the place I go. The employees are really eager to please. It's a family restaurant so sometimes the kids might be a bit active. But all in all, it's a good place to enjoy GREAT COFFEE and if you ask for your pancakes or eggs to be cooked a certain way, they do it and they do it right! Only once in the 8 years I've been living in Shelby and eating at Denny's did we encounter a "bad" night. It appears that the computers send the orders to the kitchen, or something like that. Anyway, we had to leave and come back but management made it worth the return trip and the food was just as good as always. Love that place!!! more

Denny's 3/17/2006

Denny's is a great restaurant. They are located in a convenient place, and I like the way they are eager please if something is wrong. However, this eagerness doesn't seem to be shared by all employees, although whatever is wrong will be corrected anyway. I like the food. The food is great. I love going there because they have great food at a great price. As said earlier, the restaurant is in a great place, convenient to almost anyone. It is located right in front of the Shelby Shopping Mall, close to the new movie theaters. more

A Great Family Restaurant 7/1/2005

Dennys is always a treat for my family. We go at least once a week and have breakfast for dinner. The service is always great and their daily specials are a temptation for us. I enjoy the location right next to the shopping mall in Shelby also. This is definitely a meal out that is worthy for the family. more
