Jean shopping made easy and fun! 12/19/2010

Love this place! They have a great selection of jeans and belts and the owner is super helpful! It's rare that I stray from my usual brands of jeans, but Paige, the owner suggested I try their new line DL 1961 and I'm so glad she did. They fit the same way in the store as they do when you take them home. Finding a pair of jeans that look great, fit perfect, don't stretch and are well under $200 is awesome! Thanks Paige! more

Good selection, fantastic service 9/17/2010

I tried denim affair because i was frustrated with finding the right style for myself at the department store. I didn't have a particular brand in mind, i just know how i wanted it to fit. I asked Paige to pick a few based on what i was looking for. She knows her designers and exactly how they are cut. Every time i walked out of the dressing room, she was attentive and offered her honest opinion. Then she brought in a few more pairs of jeans after she saw how i looked in the first pairs. I ended up picking a pair that she recommended because it made me look great! It was certainly not a pair i would have picked on my own, but she was right. I plan on picking up jeans for the fall there soon with her recommendation! Thanks Paige for your help! more

  • denim affair is an upscale yet relaxed boutique that was created to fill a void in South Charlotte, a store devoted almost entirely to denim.

    The brands we carry may not be entirely familiar to you because we specialize in new and emerging lines, those that are big in NYC and LA but haven't quite made their way to us yet. If it was created in the early to mid '90s, we don't have it! But we do have several more established lines you may have heard of and that can be difficult to find in this area. Our lines include 1921, AG, DL 1961, Fidelity, James Jeans, Paige Denim, Red Engine, William Rast, Miss Me, !iT, Silver, Mavi, Blank and Lucky Brand.
