SENIORS STAY AWAY from zephyrhills hospital ER. the ambulance recently took me to zephyrhills ER for severe vomiting and diarrhea. i was covered in diarrhea for hours and no one would get me anything to clean up with. i was released with diarrhea rolling down my leg. i was told i could wait in the waiting room for someone to pick me up. i was humiliated and put in danger of contracting something for being left in that state. its been about 5 weeks and im still upset and depressed about it. in closing fellow SENIORS STAY AWAY IF YOU WANT TO HAVE ANY DIGNITY LEFT WHEN YOU LEAVE THERE. I agree with everyone here this is the worst er ever.I've been there a couple of times and all my experience were a nightmare.first when I got a room there was blood everywhere.Then the doctor would not do any tests on me,i was being checked for a tumor,and he said his fingers were all he had to do the tests.My pcp said that he was lieing.Another time they refused to do any tests on me,And when I went to my pcp,she found two infections that came close to killing me.My boyfriend went there last night and they rushed him out and did nothing for him either.My friend had a heart attack,and they did nothing for him either.this place does not care,they just want the money and push you out.Oh and their bedside manners is the worst I've ever seen.Think before you go there,cause not only are they mean,but they don't care if you die either. more

BEWARE!~ This is the WORST hospital emergency room we have EVER been to. We've been there twice. 1st time I was in a car accident and they left me strapped to a gourney on a back board for over 3 hours in the hallway as I SCREAMED in pain. Then, when I finally got into a curtained room it was filthy. Blood drops on the floor (NOT mine), scraps of wrappers from bandages (not mine), etc. Just nasty. The staff is less than nice too. more

checked into er at 5pm on tuesday afternoon my wife did not get seen until 2:40 am on wednesday morning (over 9 hours) also upon arrival they did vital signs on her (blood pressure was extremly high) but was told to have a seat. the er was extremly dirty. finally upon getting called to the back and a breif talk with the doctor they said she would be admitted. at 930 am they had a bed available upstairs (16 hours later) it goes on and on. i would never return to this hospital even if it were a matter of life and death! rb more

I recently had to bring my husband to this ER and have never before seen such a circus! The facilities were dirty and shabby and the only staff member that made any sense was the actual doctor. We arrived at 10:00 am and left at 5:30 pm, what a joke! Once you actually get in to see the doctor it takes forever to get out! They really need to concentrate on improving the time it takes for patients to be seen and treated. I will never go back to that ER. I've actually had better and faster care at a Canandian ER! Please think things through and make the drive to another hospital unless you enjoy spending a full day in a waiting room! more
