On the advice of a friend, I took a trip to the ""Little Italy"" section of the Bronx to see what all the fuss was about regarding deMedici Restaurant. I've been to the area many times before, but this restaurant was like taking a step back in time. As soon as you walk in you get this warm, cozy feeling from the dark wood, copper ceiling, and period lighting. It just so happens we caught a wonderful duo called Luigi & Arlette who play there every Wedneday evening. The entertainment rivaled anything I've seen in The City, and the best part, we were there to eat.
Pros: A blend of a fine Italian restaurant and a great steak house
Cons: Food's TOO tasty; we had none left for doggy bags.
