REVIEW BY PARTNER/SPOUSE OF PATIENT: \r Dr. Delson is the best!!! My girlfriend was unable to ""relax or sleep in the bed"" for over two weeks. She could not even ""relax"" on the couch with me. Heck, not even on the floor. I did not know how to help her, or myself (LOL). She cried nightly because she was in so much pain. I cried, too. Hey, I was in pain. Friday was her first visit with Dr. Delson. Dr. Delson performed a MIRACLE!!!! She finally was able to sleep in the bed Friday night. I kept a watchful eye, and a hopeful heart. My girlfriend had a good night. YES!!!!! She had another appointment with Dr. Delson on Saturday morning. She came home a bit sore, but said it's a ""good sore,"" because she knows her condition is getting better. Saturday night, was another successful night for my girlfriend. She was able to sleep in the bed. It was finally a successful night for me too!!!! I'm a firm believer, Dr. Delson works miracles with her patients and their partners! (wink) I'm referring everyone I know to her. All I can say is thanks, Dr. Delson! You are the best! We were able to go to church this morning (we missed two weeks because of her severe neck/shoulder/arm pain). I must admit, I had a big smile on my face. Ahhhh, you have a dirty mind. After 13 visits to Dr. Delson, I am almost pain free. I was suffering with sciatica pain in my butt and down my leg. Now I have been able to walk the Ravenal Bridge pain free. That would not have been possible 2 months ago. Thanks to Dr. Delson..... more

Dr. Delson considers the integrity of the individual person when she makes assessments, educates patients about what helps them achieve maximum health, listens with her heart to what people say and translates what is said into helping patients help themselves. She is very respectful of others, hears their inner wisdom and shares herself and her skills in a very warm, nurturing and professional way. She is highly ethical. At 22 years old, I was told I needed back surgery for a degenerative disc problem. After suffering from severe low back pain for almost 6 months, seeing numerous doctors, and not wanting to have surgery, I was referred to Dr. Delson. She was finally able to give me some relief for the pain and diagnose the cause of it....something that did not need surgery! She is truly one of the best doctors I've ever been to. Dr. Evaline Delson has been my chiropractor for the last 2 years and has helped me to a speedy recovery from lower back pain. Her passion for her work and genuine care help me maintain an active lifestyle. She provides first rate service including keeping unconventional hours in order to see me during times of emergency. Dr. Delson is, hands down, the very best chiropractor in Charleston. She has been taking care of my 15 month-old son and me since I was pregnant with him. We have both only suffered minor colds since being under her care. Rare for a baby to be so healthy and I attribute it, in large, to Dr. Delson. I recommend her for anyone regardless of age, size, medical condition, etc. In fact, one of the best reasons to see her is simply for overall health maintenance. Don't we all want to prevent sickness? So, do yourself a favor and make an appointment with Dr. Delson! I called Dr. Delson the night before I left for my 1st NYC marathon due to lower back pain that would not subside. Her office was closed, so I called her after hours line and she immediately called me back from her garage. She told me to stop heating and ice my lower back. Within minutes I felt better, but she went further. She then offered to meet with me on her lunch break the next day due to the fact I was leaving that next evening. Needless to say, I completed my marathon and immediately made plans to see her once I returned. I got a thorough and informative evaluation and had my first treatment this evening. She is caring and compassionate, but most of all, VERY knowledgeable. I feel very confident that I will be better in the near future. Her practice is very reasonable in terms of prices and my first adjustment went really well. She honestly cares about her patients and is extremely passionate about what she does! I've been going to a chiropractor since I was 11 years old, so receiving regular adjustments is nothing new to me. I heard about Dr. Evaline Delson (Dr. D, as I call her) from a coworker and decided I should check her out. She was everything he said she was - friendly, thorough, knowledgeable, and caring. Dr. D's adjustments and treatments have always been tailored to my specific health needs, and she has truly helped me feel and function so much better. No other doctor has ever been able to manage my health care so well. Dr. D has always provided the best chiropractic care for me, my family, and my friends. I was in my last trimester suffering with quite a bit of discomfort when I found Dr. Delson on here. I made an appt and was so happy with my results. Dr Delson took time to listen and having children herself, knew about the problems I was suffering from. From rib to leg and back pain, she was always right on. I even had some terrible acid reflux which stopped after the first adjustment. I thought that pain and discomfort was part of being pregnant, Dr. Delson showed me it doesn't have to be. I moved to Atlanta not long ago and miss her and her staff.....Highly recommend her!!! I wish I had started seeing her earlier!! Dr.Delson is not only an excellent Dr. She really cares about you,the patient. I have been under Dr.Delson's care for years and recently she saved my career. I called the office because of excrutiating elbow pain. I was in tears the pain was unbearable. The Doctor met me at her office even though she had already left for the day and told me I had tendonitis. She warned me the adjustment would hurt due to the inflammation already there but she would ice it for me afterward. She was right, the adjustment was not pain free but after she wrapped it in ice it felt better. Honest to Goodness 10 minutes I could move my arm. I could not believe it!! The next day it felt like I had never had a sore elbow. I highly recommend Dr. Delson for her attention to the patient. \r I also must mention that she is a great Dr. for kids too. I started out with chiropractic about 15 years ago in NY due to chronic back problems as a result of sports injuries. I lived in Manhattan in a respectable area and have seen several respected chiropractors for my injuries. When I moved to Charleston about eight years ago, I started seeing a few chiropractors here. I switched doctors several times and was at my wits end because none of them we're able to help me and I thought this was because I was moving from a bigger town to a smaller town and the doctors might just not be as trained/educated. To make a long story short I was referred to Dr. Delson by a regular MD. I had my exam and immediately noticed how caring and interested she was in me. She's extremely friendly, knowledgeable and personable. She's got a warmth about her that you don't see in regular doctors. Anyways, she asked numerous questions and finally got at the heart of the matter and within my first two adjustments, I started feeling like a completely new person. Her adjustments FAR exceeded any of the adjustments I've gotten in Manhattan and to add to that, I'm not paying but less than half the cost. I'm so thrilled!
