Dellinger Wrecker Svc

Two years ago I had car trouble and my vehicle was impounded to this ""business"". I came in a week later to pick it up to find my car dissected, spray painted, and torn to shreds. They claimed that they had found my vehicle like that even though it had only been parked in public for 30 minutes and police verified that it was in good condition when it was towed away. Yet even still, the police said they/I could do nothing other then press a civil suit against them. This may have been practical if it wasn't for the fact that due to the loss of my car I lost my job. Due to the loss of my stable employment, I have faced eviction on nearly a monthly basis. I'm not posting this for sympathy but to merely state that IF you bring your vehicle here for repairs you are not getting new parts. You are getting the parts that have been pulled from OTHER peoples vehicles. If you have any shred of morality then you will take your vehicle somewhere else. more

AVOID! I went to pick up one of our cars Monday after we hydroplaned off 485 in Huntersville Sunday night in all of the water. They quoted us $125. Got there and they wanted $225. So...we had to discuss the descrepancy. Seems the towtruck operator claimed the car was 100 feet from the road. It was 10 feet from the road. He also said it was in a creek. All of Charlotte was a creek on Sunday night, Dude. Anyway, after we got the bill straightened out, their credit card machine would not work. So, I asked them if they would take a check. They pointed to the sign on the wall and said, ""No checks"". I pointed to the other sign on the wall and said, ""Yes, but it says you take credit cards, and clearly you can't."" So...off to the ATM I went. 20 minutes later, back with the cash. I walked in and the man said, ""The credit card machine works now. It was broke."" I said, ""I just got back with cash, you are taking cash."" THEN they said I had to wait for someone to escort me to the lot. I said ""Why?"" Every question you ask is answered with ""Raleigh makes us do it that way."" Really? Does Raleigh know y'all are a bunch of thieves? After about another 10 minutes I finally whined enough for them to walk me out there instead of waiting for the dumb, little golf cart. The car was only about 50 yards away. The thieving lady that tried to charge me $225 asked me what else she could do to help me. I told her to open the gate because I was getting my car out of there if I had to push it out myself. NEVER AGAIN!! more

My car was totaled, cops called Dellinger who hauled it off to their wrecking yard which they said was secure. Ha! Car was ransacked - someone took what they wanted: cash, LED flashlight and CD's. Dellingers accepted no responsibility - can't help you - so sorry. Pros: nice big trucks Cons: they'll ransack your vehicle more
