I went in there looking for a nice suit. The salesguy started singing about "Jishke shops here" (the president of Purdue University), and "a nice suit has to cost a lot", and "your size is very very difficult (a lie - I'm a normal guy), but the expensive ranges carry it". I was actually interested, so I ignored his salespitch, and instead asked about the quality of fabric, if they can order smth that's not in the store based on the catalogs of the lines they carry, and if they do alterations. The guy puffed up and said "oh, you don't plan to buy anything" and refused to talk to me any further. I'm still flabbergasted - since when are shoppers supposed to butter up salespeople??!?! Was I supposed to walk in and start throwing money at him? Later on, I also found out their prices are exorbitant - got 2 nice suites for less than the cheapest one there...
