Delisle, Daniel, DDS Settlers Walk Dental Care

NOT RECOMMENDED! I made an appointement as a new patient, switching from my old dentist to this one due to convenience of location. What I got in my opinion, simply put, is ripped off. Billing is atrocious! I went in for a simple cleaning, and I've had to go back 3 times, and I believe its to be cleaned out! These people charge me everytime I go in, and I've never had to pay for anymore than a copay before. A simple cleaning has turned into 3 visits and 300.00 out of my own pocket. When I got mad and questioned a bill, they said, well......what if we just charge you half? Really?? USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!! THE TRUE MEANING OF SCHYSTER IN MY OPINION! more

Not recommended. Unclear, shady costs and billing by the office staff, and the dentist doesn't guarantee his work, although he tells you he will, but then tries to charge for inferior quality of services. more

STAY AWAY\r \r A year and a half ago I had a root canal done by Dr Delisle, 6 months ago that crown cracked and had to be replaced, I went in to get the temporary put on to wear while the permanent one was being made. The temporary fell to pieces within two days of wearing it, literally shattered into pieces so I was without any sort of protection on the tooth until the permanent came on. Finally got the permanent put on. However, just this morning, a second crown just shattered, a permanent crown that Dr. Delisle also did on the other side of my face. This one I had to pay $1400 for because i didn't have insurance. I am so completely frustrated with this man. Everything he has done to my teeth has had to be fixed. Now I'm going to have to pay another $450 at another dentist to have fixed what Dr. Delisle should have gotten right. Stay away from this place. more

Dr Delisle is an excellent dentist and will work with you until you are happy with your results. He serves all of my family's dental needs and I'm so glad to have found Settlers Walk Dental Care. His staff is so friendly and helpful. He is highly recommended in my book! more

I went to Settler's Walk Dental in Jan 2008 and had a root canal and crown. I went to a different dentist for my next cleaning and found that the crown wasn't sealed properly. Dr. Delisle put on a new crown about a year and a half later. I only went back because he did it free of charge. I have known since at least Dec 2009 that the second crown was done incorrectly. There has been a chip in the back of it and the gums around it are all red and irritated. My current dentist says it needs to be re-done again. Since it has only been 2 1/2 years since my insurance was charged for the first crown, I will have to pay $1000 for a new one. Or I could chance having Dr. Delisle do it for the 3rd time..... Cons: poor quality dental care! more

i had 5 tooth that needed fillings, they drilled 5 tooth but filled 4--i didnt realized this til i was home because my mouth was numb from the anesthesia, so i had to go back. the lady who did my fillings denied that she had forgotten 1 tooth & even told me that the hole was already there. take note that after the 2 separate procedure (i went back twice in a day) dr. delisle never come & check my tooth, or what has just happened. i floss my front teeth that night & realized that the lady (forgot her name but would recognize her face anytime) didnt file the filling --it was not smooth --floss literally shreds. so i went back again & this time DR. DELISLE did the filing, didnt say anything & didnt even apologized...had to go back again for one of my tooth that they filled-in gets very sensitive...even to tap water! had to make another appointment from them so dr. delisle could re-drill & re-fill my sensitive tooth. i've been there 4 separate times for back-jobs & im not really happy with them. even if they're going to tell me that i could go there & be seen for free for a lifetime I would never go back...never...!!!! i should have checked before going in, turns out that 2 acquintances of mine & their friends also had the same experience with them... lesson learned...the hard way... more

I've been very impressed with the level of professionalism and care from the doctors and the assistants, however, I've noticed a regular problem with their account keeping. They regularly make errors in their statements, I'd say about 30% of the statements I've received have had errors usually overcharging. They once called my wife informing her in a very rude manner that we had a bill 6 months overdue and threatened to hire a collection agency. We were concerned, and it ended up there were in error, we in fact have never been late on a single payment. Usually they just claim that our insurance payed less than they did and ask us for more than we owe. Again the service is great and the people are usually nice, if you go with them make sure you verify the amount you owe with your insurance company for every statement.
