Delicious Orchards

I worked at this business while in High School. It was always the best in quality and service, the people working there made sure of that. Pies, pastries, vegetables, fruits and that old bee hive that used to be on the inside of the building all lent themselves to a delicious experience. The only store of its kind. I haven't been there in ten years or so, I hope it's still alive! If so, you've 'gotta go'. more

The pies here are definitely worth the money. Plus, a few times a year, they change up the pies they offer (like offering an apple crumb pie that it AWESOME). If that wasn't enough, they have fresh baked goods, fresh bread, a deli, fresh fruits/veggies, apple cider, etc... They just have too much to list it all. I find that the veggie/fruit section in my super market is lacking... so when I go to delicious orchards I try to stock up. They get very crowded on weekends.. especially right before a holiday so plan ahead. You can even order your pies ahead of time. more

This is not your typical supermarket or your typical farmer's market. Delicious Orchards is in a class all its own. It is in a very wealthy area and sometimes the prices reflect this. However, the prices are well worth it. They sell fresh fruit, vegetables, meats, homemade baked goods, and much more. I highly recommend the Apple Cider donuts! The store is very old-fashioned and I think that is why the quality is so superior. I love this place! more

You can’t beat the baked goods, produce, and fresh fruit at Delicious Orchards. Year round, the selection is unparalleled. People come here from out of state just to shop at this market. It’s a bit pricier than your average supermarket but not by much, and it has a wonderful selection to choose from. You will love it here! more

Delicious Orchards is one of my favorite food stores in the world. They can be expensive, but the atmosphere and selection are beyond compare. They carry the freshest fruits and vegetables anywhere and even have "pick-your-own" during certain seasons. They carry a huge of baked goods, all freshly baked that day. Everything is clean and beautiful! A fantastic store overall and well worth any price you pay. more

This place is delicious--just as the name implies. They specialized in baked goods which are absolutely--should I say it---delicious. They also have tons of fresh produce, a candy section, many different cheeses, and a deli section. The place is very busy and crowded during the holiday season so you must order your pies early. more

This place has been around for years and years and it hasn't lost it's spark. they have the most delicious breads and baked good that you've ever tasted. The also have a fabulous produce and cheese section. All of which are delectable. It is a treat to just go there and try many of their samples. You can't help but buy something more

The Very Best Foods! This grocery/farmers market has only the finest foods. They have great gourmet cheeses (thousands), homemade apple cider donuts and pies (YUMMY) and a huge produce selection. Delicious Orchards is known primarily for its wonderful, fresh fruit. However, I am a big fan of this place because of the apple picking and pumpkin picking that they offer. There are not many places that you can go to and do these fun things. It is always nice to be able to take the family out and pick for the fall holidays. They have tons of different types of apple trees to choose from that the rows just go on and on. more

I first went to Delicious Orchards on a class trip when I was around 6 and I still love this place. They have great fresh produce and delicious baked goods. This place is known for their apple pies although I can say that all of their pies are delicious. This place is so busy around the holidays. more

Some people go to Delicious Orchards at the holidays for the fantastic pies and miss out the rest of the year on all that they offer. I've been going there since I was a little girl and it's just as goodas i remember or even better as my palate has developed. First stop upon entering is the bakery dept. You really can't go wrong. Family favorites include the apple cider donuts, crumb cake, english muffin bread, apple turnovers. And of course the vast assortment of pies which are now priced from $10-$15 each but that doesn't stop them from flying off the shelves. Next, hook your cart to the right into the cheese dept. If you go early in the day, you can often snag some samples. Copious amounts of cheese surround you. Whether you're more into chevre or cheddar, they've got you covered. The produce dept has all the basics at prices comparable to grocery stores but of a higher quality. The apple selection is extensive including varieties you just don't see elsewhere. More exotic items can be found depending on the season like blood oranges, champagne grapes, wild strawberries, pluots, key limes and purple potatoes. in the vegetable room, inhale the scent of fresh herbs and take a gander at the organic and Asian sections where you can pick up tofu and wonton wrappers. Next stop, the candy/coffee/tea room. Sample loose teas in convenient 1 oz packets or buy a bag of whatever amount you wish. The boxed tea takes up an impressive area of wall space. Coffee will be packaged for you whole or ground. Chocolates and other candies are sure to tempt you, too. in the checkout area, take a peak in the freezers. My grandmother loves the stuffed chicken breasts. Specialty ice creams and premium butters are also in this area. After bagging up in crisp paper sacks, take a moment outside to collect your thoughts at the concession stand which is stocked with the donuts and cider you can't leave without securing. more

Delicious Orchards has the best pies I've ever tasted. Apple, pumpkin, coconut custard-you name, they have it. We go there every year in the fall to get pies for Thanksgiving and just to go for their wonderful apple cider doughnuts and fresh pressed apple cider. They have sugar free pies that are also wonderful. You might have to wait on a long line for the pies, but it's well worth it! They sell produce that is very fresh, and they also have a wide selection of other gourmet foods. The people that work there are very nice and helpful and it's a pleasure to shop there. more

Delicious Orchards is great! Its located on over a 100 acres and it has a warm homey feeling to it. You can go apple picking or pumpkin picking there. They have the best inside store with all kinds of homemade goods, from hot apple pies and fresh baked breads to flowers and plants. They have hayrides in the fall for the kids. Everything is fresh made and you'll want to buy some delicious treats for your family and friends. They even have mail order where you can order beautiful baskets filled with all their treats. The prices are reasonable in this one of a kind store. more

The pirces are a little high but it is worth it. more

Delicious Orchards has one of the greatest selections of pies and pastries in NJ. They also offer a produce, cheese, and deli section that can't be beat. The smell of the food alone is worth the trip. They have some of the best looking and tasting pies--something you can order for holidays and gifts. But, nothing beats the apple cider donuts--i never miss buying these on any trip! And, the chocolate eclairs are simply delicious. You won't be disappointed with whatever your buy. more
