Finally a New york style deli in the Southbay! 1/28/2007

I was so happy to hear there was a NY style deli close by. I went there the week they opened and I had a Tuna on rye w/ a huge ( I mean HUGE) bowl of Matzo Ball soup. It was really great. It was just as good if not better(I havent been home in a while...)than any deli food I've had back in NY. I was a bit disappointed in the feel of the place though. It was sort of weird not being waited on (you ordered at the counter) and the menu was hard to read. I've been back several times since and they changed to waitress services after a few months and just recently they changed their menu to a NY deli style menu .....now, FINALLY a real NY style deli in the southbay! Some of my favorites are their homemade soups, black and white cookies, potatoe pancakes, and their Oatmeal Apple pancakes! more

  • In Short
With walls of autographed jerseys and 42-inch plasma TVs, one might expect a bar basics menu of burgers and beer. The food, however, is as much of a draw as the sports superstars adorning the walls. With a 200-item menu, diners can choose from deli classics like lox bagels and potato pancakes, or, create their own sandwich with a quarter, half, or whole pound of meats smoked in an onsite cooker.
