Delhi Palace, fast, inexpensive, and good 12/23/2007

When we arrived at the Delhi Palace Express, I wasn't expecting it to be fast food because of its location on Yale, where there are all sit down restaurants. It put me off at first thinking that Indian fast food couldn't be good. I was pleasantly surprised. It was a tiny little fast food joint that served great food, fast, at a very reasonable price. I think it caters a little more to the American palate than other Indian restaurants I have been to, but it was still very good. I will go back. Pros: The food, the price Cons: the restaurant itself. Not very asthetically pleasing. more

today i dicovered a nice little indian restaurent . very good food nice people.large varity of vegetatian food\r Pros: fast economical and great food Cons: parking in claremot is not easy more

Used to go there evey couple of weeks...no more. 10/27/2006

The food at Delhi Palace TASTES very good. However, the atmosphere, sanitation, and ambiance leave much to be desired. The restaurant has been shut down for health violations in the past. The staff could be friendlier. The cooks area (in the back) LOOK scary...one can only imagine. Claremont village has many, many wonderful restaurants...any place else would be a better choice. more

Terrible food 11/25/2005

I used to live in the Silicon Valley where there is some of the best Indian food in the nation. I ate at this place today and was appalled by the nasty food. Too bad. I really enjoy the downtown area and thought this might be a little gem. I would not eat here if I were you. Go across the street. Good luck. Cons: nasty food more
