I've been around the block in Madison restaurants. I just don't think you'll find any better than this one. Especially if steaks are your thing. Pros: steaks, sides, service

Try the seafood specials they are great! Also the bacon wrapped petite filet is a great steak at a great deal. Pros: Great Food more

This Resturant has come a long way...I have been dining in Madison for decades and this place has never failed to amaze me....32 years is a long time for a place to be around and I think it has to do with the way they are ever changeing with the times....For example the menu has of course steaks but there is ostrich and elk amongst many other seafood selections. The wine list has all the names that you would have a hard time finding any where else....and please have the seafood martini....king crab..... yum! Delaney's has been around for 31 years. But if you were to ask me I would think that is less then 10. I have dined at Delaneys countless times and they never let me down. Steaks are what the do best and seafood is a close second. All the steaks are hand cut on premise by an in house meat cutter and you can tell. The atmosphere is comfortable and the big band music in the bar adds a nice touch. Wine list is good an the Captian's list is even better. Try them when in Madison.
