Yes. SAME del val. Completely unsatisfactory! Would you be willing to put up with unprofessional service and lack of communication? They're supposed to call 1 hour BEFORE they show up for service and never did. Neither my wife nor I, received a call, so we had NO IDEA when they were arriving. Then they got mad, because we weren't ready for them?! They actually had the nerve to tell me, ""Time is money and you are making us late, since you don't have the pool items ready for us when we got here."" I reminded them that they were supposed to call 1 hour beforehand and that if they had called, we would had have everything ready for them. Apparently, this bothered them because they later charged me for some peripherals I already had. PLEASE take the time to seek other Pool services, OTHER THAN --> del val pools and spas. They're simply not worth it. more

Great Store and Customer Service more

So my husband and I bought a pool through Del Val. They subcontact the installation through one of two companies, one of them being J &M pools installation. (Should mention that BBB does not have a record of them being an active business). First, Del Val brought out the wrong equipment for the installation and of course we didn't find that out until they showed up at 6:30 a.m. They were happy to replace it, which they did. Then the installers came back, at 6:30 a.m. on another day and installed the pool. They said to call them the next day when the pool was filled to install the filter. We did and they NEVER came. We called several times, including calling Fred at Del Val. Finally, J & M call back and said that they would be there at 5:30 a.m., yes I said 5:30 a.m. on saturday to install it. THEY NEVER CAME AND NEVER CALLED. Can you imagine getting up at that hour on your day off!! When we finally called them at 7:00 a.m. they said they knew they weren't coming the night before but decided it was too late to call us. Promised to be there be/t 9:30 and 10:00. What do you think happened?! I had to call Fred, again, at Del Val, who never called me back. Then began ducking my phone calls because he didn't have an answer for me. Finally they showed up at noon to install. Do not use this company!!! Customer service is a joke and you will end up being frustrated and irritated. Not worth your hard earned money!!! You have been warned. more

I am a first time pool owner and I had Del Val of Turnersville come and open my pool. When they came to open my pool they told me that I would be able to swim in my pool within 24-48 hours and that is not true at all. It has been 6 days now with non-stop work of my pool and it is still not ready to swim in. I have been back and fourth to their store and everytime I go there they keep selling me more unnecessary stuff that is not helping my pool. I also went their to purchase a skimmer cap for my filter basket and they sold me the wrong stuff, so back to the store I go. I finally got the right skimmer cap, but I am still not swimming. Del Val basically charges you to pour in some liquid chlorine, put in your return plugs, ladders, and start your filter to keep it running for days. They did nothing to help me get into my pool as far as cleaning or helping me get close to swimming in the pool. About $600.00 down the drain so far when dealing with Del Val. I will be going somewhere else for my pool service and I hope you decice to do the same thing. Good Luck to you, if you trust this company. You will and could be out a lot more money then myself, if you deal with Del Val. more

Not sure if you are talking about the same store as the one I go to. We bought a pool from Del Val Pools on Rt. 42. When we first went there, we took a look around at the different pools and spas and toys before talking to Bryan. He was very nice, and seemed to know his stuff! We got some prices, and asked how long it took to get a pool. He told us it was a few weeks. We went home, thought about it, got our finances together and went back. This time we talked to Sam. One thing's for sure... they make a great team! And, I never felt like I was being pressured into a sale by a pushy salesman. When all was said and done, I got to know the whole family, and we were on a first name basis! I guess what I'm saying is this, everyone has their own experiences, and ours was obviously better than yours. We just didn't seem to have the difficulties that you did. We told all of our friends about Del Val, and we continue to tell people. We still shop there for chemicals and toys, and they do all of our services (openings & closings).
