Del Oro Music is a recording studio that for some reason decided to get into the DJ for hire business... BIG MISTAKE!!! My wife (fiance at the time) met with David Longoria (owner) to discuss hiring one of his DJ's for our wedding. Our first 2 meetings where great he explained all his company could offer us and how he could proved us with a great wedding DJ. We met with one of the DJ's by the name of Karl. We spoke breifly with him about what we were looking for and they both agreed that, that wouldn't be a problem. We felt so confident that we put down a deposit to save our date and started on a time line, which by the way was a photocopy of another dj's. Everything 'til that point seemed to be going so well that I even refered him business. Then everything started to go bad from there. I prepared our entire playlist for him and delivered it to his office. At that time I mentioned to him that the friends I refered hadn't received their contact, he said he would get it in the mail. For the next few weeks I couldn't get him to return any of my calls not to mention my friends had still not received their contact, which was an embarassment to me considering I refered them. With about a month and a half to go and the communication with David very sparatic we starting to feel a little leary about our decision. So we asked if we could hear the DJ before we made a final payment. Upon that request he seemed a little hesitant and after a week of pressuring I realized why. Karl was horrible so boring and lathargic. He was putting the crowd to sleep. I immediately asked David for our money back and explained why. He again gave me the run around then finally said I wouldn't get one because the down payment was for the prepartions for our wedding such as timeline (which was done by me) playlist (which again was done by me) and him driving to the recption where we heard Karl perform. BEWARE!!! He makes you think you're getting the best but it's actually far from it.
Cons: The guy is a con man!!!
