I've toyed between giving the Las Vegas location an Average or Recommended Rating. The wait staff was very prompt and attentive but as we sat down to the table--did not have time to enjoy the first drink before they wanted to take our order. "So we can get the menus off of the table" Felt very rushed through the meal. Waiter suggested a variety of appetizers for the table consisting of crab cakes, jumbo shrimp and calamari. All were good. The special of the night a 15'' bone in steak was not any bigger or tastier than the prime rib eye--this one you definitely pay for the bone!! The waiter suggested the lobster for the table (largest) and anyone who orders lobster knows they are older and tougher--assured it was not; tough as expected and definitely over cooked. We had a variety of items ordered at the table, turtle soup (very peppery) the filets were cooked as ordered large portions, the salmon looked nice, grouper special was nice, and the shrimp scampi looked good (piled high with tomatoes). Ala Carte side dishes are just that... potatoes au gratin, asparagus, broccoli, spinach supreme (oops they forgot to bring those out). When the meal is served--they bring out more wait staff to serve the ala carte items and the table will be swarming. I personally have no issues paying for a good meal, so if you do not mind being up sold for every item--the steaks are good and cooked to order---it was just rather disappointing since lived in Dallas and having been there numerous times--Viva Las Vegas just did not measure up!!!
Pros: Attentive Waitstaff
Cons: Not good for large groups unless you rent a private room
