Thomas J. Scattergood, Esquire:
Tom’s practice focuses primarily on Business, Commercial and Family Law. He is also a certified Mediator and Arbitrator. Tom graduated from Rider University, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce. He earned his Master of Education and Juris Doctorate from Temple University.
Tom has been practicing law for close to 40 years, spending the majority of those years running his own general practice law firm in Burlington, New Jersey, and as a managing attorney at an insurance defense firm. He was also a municipal court judge for over 20 years from the 1970’s through the 1990’s. He has recently returned to the bench and now serves as the Municipal Court Judge of Burlington City in addition to practicing law.
Carrie L. DeJesus, Esquire:
Carrie’s practice focuses primarily on Estates, Probate, Guardianships and Family Law. Carrie graduated from Douglass College at Rutgers University, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. She earned her Juris Doctorate from Widener University School of Law.
Prior to forming The Scattergood Law Firm, L.L.C. with her dad, Carrie clerked for the Honorable James F. Mulvihill, J.S.C., in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Criminal Division in Middlesex County. She has also interned at the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office and the Office of the Attorney General of the State of New Jersey.
