Our anniversary is tomorrow and I took the top tier of my wedding cake out of the freezer and again I am reminded of how disappointed I was on our wedding day. The morning of our wedding they called several times about which of their cake toppers I was picking out (none, because when we went in they were all covered in dust), then that they misplaced my cake topper, would I like to pick out another of theirs (no, I have my own, and I never brought it there), then a third call about where my cake topper is (obviously with me). The cake tasted stale (on the day of our wedding!) we even had guests ask us where the cake came from because they "were not fond of it". A friend of mine frequents that bakery regularly for their pastries, but was surprised with the poor quality of the cake. The design we picked was imitated in a way a child might have attempted.
