A great place for kids to learn music! 1/6/2012

When I was looking for a piano teacher for my daughter, I spoke with quite a few teachers. Dee was by far the nicest teacher I spoke with. Her lessons are fun, and she knows how to motivate children without pushing. She is especially good with small children as she is very patient. My daughter started taking piano lessons from Dee when she was 4, and she has been with Dee for over 3 years now. I highly recommend her as a piano teacher. more

Very nice teacher 1/6/2012

My daughter started to take the piano lesson with Dee last Feb when she was 5. We were a bit worried that piano lesson could be a bit challenge for the little kid. But we are amazed that she really enjoyed the class since the first class. I have to say that Dee is really patient, and she does make the piano lesson fun to the kid. We are really glad to have Dee as my daughter's piano teacher. more

You'll love Dee's Music Room too... 1/3/2012

My daughter has been taking piano lessons with Dee since she was four and now she's ten, and she loves Dee! Dee has made learning piano fun and enjoyable for her students. Having gone through two piano teachers and known many more myself when I was a kid, I can say that the right teachers could make all the differences in the world. Not many piano teachers could motivate students to enjoy playing and practicing the piano like Dee could. She has a wonderful way to make kids feel at ease and never get bored with lessons and practices. She never pressures the students but yet able to bring out the best musical sense in them. We count ourselves blessed to have Dee as our daughter's piano teacher! more

Great place to start learning music with fun 1/1/2012

We have two boys (5,7) taking piano lessons with Dee for 1 and half years. Our sons are introduced to piano with Dee's teach. She creates the learning environment where young students feel comfortable with new songs and get interested in practicing piano. Her skills to interact with students are excellent. She understands student's personality to provide individualized lessons based on not only levels but also personalities. more

  • Dee Sales graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Music in voice and piano. Her husband, Dan, is a performing jazz and classical guitarist and teacher. His compositions have been purchased by several companies, including "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous" and "Days of Our Lives," and he has performed alongside Ella Fitzgerald and Bob Hope, among others. Together, Dee and Dan established Dee's Music Room to provide a community of teachers and families dedicated to learning music through the fun of self-expression and discovery. The teaching studio is geared toward preschool to high school aged students, and offers a variety of individual and group classes.
