Deerwood Florist

I called Bert from long distance to order flowers for my sister's special milestone birthday & the flowers I saw in Deerwood's web site & what was delivered to my sister were two completely different things. The arrangement only had 1/4 of the flowers, a bunch of greenery & I paid a lot if money. The picture showed a lot of roses & pink Lillie's & barely could see greenery and was so full. Truly disappointed & angry because Bert says he goes by the guide how to make the arrangement. Well we don't know this! So why show a picture in your web site of an arrangement & deliver something else?! My options that he offered is make the arrangement over again the same way which is my issue or a refund. How can I take the flowers away from my sister who just barely had her milestone birthday but also had her 3rd breast cancer surgery! Never again will I use this flower shop! The web site shows beautiful full flower arrangements & they deliver something else cause they have guides to make the flower arrangements, what??!!! Then show the true flower arrangement you're going to deliver in the web site. more

Called Deerwood Florist and gave the item number that I was looking at on the web site.. Although, the arrangement was nice and they did make a speedy delivery, it was nothing like the picture and not what I had expected. I am very dissapointed... I usually send my fiance' flowers 1-2 times a month and thought I would give them a try because they are close despite the negative reviews on the internet. I'll find someone a little further away and get what I expect next time. Again, they looked nice but it was not what I anticipated nor what I wanted. The customer service when I called to let them know that I was unhappy with what I got was poor at best. The man that answered the phone tried to explain that flower arrangements are one sided in the picture but are round when made??? Certainly you shouldn't display and sell two different things, clearly they advertise something to make it look bigger and fuller yet deliver something else. I tried to explain my position to him and all he wanted to say was that I was being ugly and that they would gladly go pick them up... Come on, REALLY??? Go pick them up? Seriously? That is a tactic for me to say "Oh-No, please don't do that". I wasn't looking for a refund in the first place, I was simply trying to voice my concern as a disapointed customer. I think I'll follow the review's recommendations next time and use another florist. Thanks for the speedy delivery, I would have gladly paid a bit more for a much fuller arrangement like what was shown in the advertisement and I will certainly use another Florist next time. more

Only used Deerwood Florist 1 time and that was enough for me. I really recommend you try a different place and never use Deerwood Florist. more

My fiancé personally went to this shop, preordered and PAID in advance for flower arrangements delivered in 2 separate occasions (my birthday and Valentine's day). He did this days before leaving for a job assignment overseas. Come December 2011 we received a bill from Deerwood florist (addressed to my fiancé). I didn't open the envelope thinking it just might be a thank you note from the flower shop. By January 2012 I found another envelope from them in our mailbox so I called Deerwood florist to see what this is all about. I was told that it is a billing error and my fiancé did pay for it so just disregard the letter and he is going to fix it in their records. Valentine's day comes and I received the 2nd surprise flower arrangement and received another mail from Deerwood florist. I called them again to follow up if they've fixed the billing error. No one returned my phone call. March and April came and I still kept receiving mail from them. I called twice this week and they never return phone calls. If they don't keep ACCURATE records then this would show up as an unpaid bill and we don't want this to be turned to the collection agency. We are EXTREMELY DISSAPOINTED with Deerwood Florist! We certainly DO NOT recommend this flower shop! In addition, the flower arrangement is not that good at all. I had to fix it to make it look like my favorite cartoon character which was the theme of the flower arrangement. Even my colleagues noticed how poorly it was arranged. I wish I can give ZERO STAR for the rating but lowest is 1 star on the option. Honestly, please go somewhere else if you're looking for a reputable florist shop to avoid headaches!!!!! more
