Disappointed in the communication throughout the process. I brought my car in initially for a tire repair (screw in tire) and I added an oil change since I was due and had to leave me car anyway. I received a call concerning recommended repairs. I declined their repairs and asked if my oil change was performed and my tire had been repaired. I had been assured both were done and my car was ready for pickup. Upon leaving, I thought nothing of checking to make sure my repairs that were confirmed to be performed were done. One day later, my tire blew out on the highway. Turns out, they did not repair my tire as requested and confirmed. Later I found out, I was not charged, but that was not my concern. The fact that I was driving hundreds of miles on highway a day later, on a damaged tire that the shop knew of was more concerning. Luckily I made it back from a trip a few day later to discover the tire still had a screw in it. When I refilled the flat with air, the tire popped. Luckily I did not have a problem on the expressway at high speeds, but the lack of communication from Deerfield Tire Co.'s could have been a major problem. As it turned out, my tire was beyond repair, but I was unaware because this was not communicated to me up front, instead is was a side not on the invoice they gave me. I would have been happy to replace the tire or both my front tires through them had I been aware, but I was not informed when I left the shop that there was an issue or they did not remove the screw from the tire. Instead, I purchased (4) new tires from a shop nearby that was honest enough to tell me the tire was too worn out for repair and at least two new tires were required. The local shop being up front with me, I negotiated (4) tires instead of the (2) the initially recommended I could get by on.. I was more appreciative of the information then them trying to sell me on larger repairs rather than communicating the issue I actually brought my car in for, even though it may have been less of a sale for them.
