Deer Park Muffler & Brake

After seeing Williams post, I had to sign up and share my own experiences. I first used Mark/Deer Park Muffler around 1990. I've taken about a dozen different vehicles there, some multiple times, and have NEVER been unsatisfied. A few years ago, I brought in a vehicle that he had worked on in the early 90's and some of the exhaust hangers had come loose - that was not even why I had the car in there, yet he replaced all of them for no charge. I have had one car in High Performance Pontiac magazine, and another with a 6-page feature in Popular Hot Rodding - Mark did the exhaust systems on both cars. more

This is not the first time I had a problem with Mark the owner at Deerpark muffler. The first time I had him put new exhaust on my 1974 GTO I tried to go over some things with him and he told me that he was good and it had to be done the way he does it so I let him. When I picked the car up I told him that was not going to work the tail pipes where to close to the tires and I was going to put larger tire on it. He told me he didn't have a cristle ball and that he would redoo it but was going to charge me again. The next time I brought my 1968 camaro convertible I called him and made a appointment for the next morning at 8:00AM when he opened. It looked like it was going to rain but I had an obligation so I huried there at 8:00AM I get there and there was no cars on the racks. I ask him where he wanted it and he told me he didn't have room for it I should have brung it on a tuesday or wednsday that there was three are four cars ahead of me and the car had to stay all day and that I couldn't stay with it. So I left for the last time. This is not any way to run a bussiness and he is rude. more
