I do dj here, so I am biased.....but most my friends and people that show up to Deco on Fridays, usually end up there cause everything else around Houston has gotten stale..... ...

this place have a beautiful design, check it out. it would be nice to see comments posted by patrons and not staff. make up your own mind about this place, just dont buy into the hype. more

I was impressed with the decour, service, atmosphere and all around vibe. Although the clientel has changed and grown from opening night, the misses and I love popping in for a drink to people watch and listen to some great tunes from the live DJ. The non-smoking, no cover idea is great. We love that we can go in with minimal line, easily get a drink and just chill. Then head home with out a headache and not smelling of smoke. The free Champagne and for ladies on Sundays is a nice touch for after brunch as well. Pros: Non Smoking, No cover, Great tunes Cons: Parking more

Good lounge 10/2/2005

The place had a very nice atmosphere, nice furniture and a large bar. DJ played good tunes and dancing. Lot of room allowed for personal space. Super Place! 8/18/2005

Well I arrived in my reptile suit, and they said either untuck your shirt or take off your pants, so, I decided to take off my pants. Great place. I was able to get up on the tables and dance, and this was actually encouraged by the management and DJ Moons. Great place, will keep going and tell all my frat brothers. more

Hot Spot in Midtown 7/14/2005

Nice, stylish chill atmosphere when there is not a modeling contest going on. The Dj was striking, the people where eye-catching and it was hard to believe that Deco is a coffee shop during the day. This seems to be the trend nowadays. A normal and tranquil cafe by day and an animated and energetic lounge bar at night. Do dress to impress here especially if you are a female.... Great Martini and No Ashtray residue smell. 6/1/2005

Went last week Friday to hear DJ Sun. Great music, Great Vibe. I appreciate the no velvet rope no dress code idea, but I wish that some of the Midtown locals would show a little more self respect. This is a nice lounge not a frat party beach weekend. Other that a few patrons in shorts and plastic flip flops it might be the perfect bar. Midtown Jewel! 5/19/2005

Out on a dinner date and was recommended to the 'newest of new' spots in trendy Midtown Houston - Deco. Didn't expect much being in a strip center, but this place is absolutely gorgeous! The staff was extremely friendly, the decor was exquisite, and the drinks were reasonably priced. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that this place actually doubles as a coffee bar during the day with wireless capabilities. Cool jazzy music from the DJ. If I could design the perfect date destination, this would be it! Non-smoking policy inside and smoking on the outdoor patio makes the place nice too. We'll definitely be back!
