Erica at Dear Clark Hair Studio is amazing! She is by far the best hairstylist I've been to. She is extremely knowledgable and listens to her clients. I trust her professional opinion with any cut or color I want to try. I've had long hair the majority of my life and the first drastic haircut I made was by Erica. I've kept it short ever since! She did such a WONDERFUL job and so many people ask me who cut and color my hair. She is the best! more

Amanda W is my stylist of choice. I've followed her for nine years and believe she is at her best in her home at Dear, Clark on McKinney Ave. She never fails to deliver a great cut and keep a smile on my face. Superior advice on self-styling and maintenance, timing on the next cut/trim to keep a look, product, and new cuts that enhance your overall aesthetic I have sent many of my guy friends to her, none of which have ever been disappointed. Many of my girlfriends have gone for both cuts and style outs and been amazed at her attention to detail and overall delivery. Even my mother is a devotee! Amanda is a consummate professional with an amazing eye for precise detail and client satisfaction. Another perk with Amanda as your stylist is those fab mini scalp massages as she shampoos your mane....nirvana baby! Regarding the salon,I find it to be a warm and modern space with a good energy and good confidence. The staff and stylists are all gorgeous girls and guys ready to help you look and be your best. I have tried several color specialist in Dallas and have not been happy with there blonde until I found JENN! If you are blonde and want that color where people stop you to tell you how pretty your hair is then look no further!! Jenn Armstrong is the BEST in Dallas!! more

I've been going to Jenn for about a year and half now and absolutely love her as a stylist! I've previously only gone to one other girl to color my hair, so trying another stylist was a very big deal, but Jenn won me over on the first appt. Erica and I just made our 1 year anniversary :) I moved to Dallas a year ago and was really worried about finding someone I could trust with my hair. I get so many compliments on both my cut and color. I have curly hair, which is sometimes difficult for stylists. Erica introduced me to Deva Curl (which is amazing) and my curls have never been better. I also love her blow-outs, when I want to lose the curls. She's the best. I am new to Dallas and I have been looking for someone to layer and color my hair. I was a color virgin ;) Erica listened to what I wanted done with my hair and she even made a couple suggestions. This place has no integrity! Martin Pena fried a friend's hair, discounting her request that he reduce heat, since her hair is porous. The result: A haystack of frizzled, broken hair with white tips, where glossy dark used to be. I helped her snip off the white, split ends of hundreds of hairs. Martin refused to help or speak to her, BECAUSE, he said, she had already started snipping off the ends. Go figure. In addition, the colorist spilled color all over a friend's canvas designer bag and said, ""What have you done to yourself?"" The salon accepts no responsibility, either, since everyone there is an independent contractor. Run the other way! more

I first started going to Jennifer 5yrs ago when I relocated to the Dallas area. I was very apprehensive to entrust my long locks in the hands of an unfamiliar stylist but after reading so many great reviews about Ms Barrios all over the web, I knew I was in GREAT hands!!!! Not only is she an amazing stylist/colorist, she turned me on to a service that has changed my life completely... the BRAZILIAN BLOWOUT!!! I went from having dull, frizzy & unmanageable hair to people stopping me all the time w/nothing but compliments!! Jennifer was one of the first stylists in the Dallas area to be certified as a Brazilian Blowout Technician and holds EXTREME knowledge as well as many years experience with this procedure! I highly recommend Jennifer to take care of all your hair needs and especially if your interested in the Brazilian Blowout. She really knows her stuff & I couldnt be happier with all that she has done w/my hair transformation throughout the years!!! Wow! Where do I begin? My hair was a complete MESS when I met the amazing and charming Charles. I have long hair, I am a natural ash-dark blonde who decided to dye my hair dark brown. To make matters worse, I went to let's just say a very popular mall franchise10 weeks prior, to have it corrected and it only made things worse. So, I was terrified to let anyone touch my hair. It was by happen stance that Charles had an open spot the day I called. I researched salons and Dear Clark kept popping up as one of the best in Dallas. The ladies & men at the front desk bent over backwards to get me in-so just a little shout out to them!!! I immediately felt at ease with Charles, he is NOT at all pretentious like most Dallas hair stylists. Later he told me he was from Austin or had spent most of his career there-which by the way, I'll let him tell you about his C.V...it is very impressive, just INCREDIBLE & you will feel like you have hit the JACKPOT! Really, like your a celebrity sitting in Jen Aniston's Stylist's chair in L.A.! And he did not brag at all about it. This guy is so wonderful he will make you realize that you've been throwing your hard earned money away for years with other stylists! As he was actually taking the time-sincerely,most stylists roll their eyes or give you some lame excuse about pictures you bring in, to look at my teenage pics of my natural color, he actually thanked me for bringing them in! Seriously? I knew I had found my man! If that wasn't enough Charles gave me lessons on how to style a poofy-high-chic-pony tail, how to get sexy waves (the way stylists do it I don't mean with a diffuser) I mean the guy worked on television shows and I believe he said film as well. I say believe because I was a blissbunny at this point. He knew I was scared and offered me white wine, water, other drinks or a MIMOSA! Hello! HEAVEN! LOL! One of the best parts of the experience-other than I was in the hands of a REAL artist not a hair dresser-I have social anxiety and he was so easy to talk to. I also have migraines and when he washed the color out he gave me a neck massage--he should charge extra for this!!!! My hair looks healthy, it is sooooo much closer to where we agreed we want to get it and I can't wait to have my hair shaped and cut by Charles in a few weeks. This guy is going to blow up!!!!! Charles thank you for bringing some serious sunshine into my life and making me feel prettier during a rough patch. You are truly the best and a true artist-not a hair dresser. A friend from work referred me to Dear Clark, and I was lucky to have my first appointment with Kaycee. I had driven by the salon hundreds of times -- I wish I had stopped in sooner! The location, venue, atmosphere and service are excellent. When I sit in Kaycee's chair, I know I'm going to have great results. Kaycee listens to me and understands my vision, while offering her expert opinion. She gives me ideas but always listens first -- which makes me a truly satisfied client. My hair has never looked better. Kaycee can style in a pinch, cut and style like a pro and trim my bangs in a flash. She makes each visit fun and productive. I was a squeamish client until I met Erica and she confidently gave me the hottest hair I have ever had. She is professional, always punctual, super friendly and never fails to deliver the best cut, color, and style?always beyond expectation. Guys, my husband gets his hair cut by Erica and he has never looked better and he HAS TO look professional and current for his job.
