a unique pizza joint with an interesting menu. The pizza is very good, and it is always a treat to have Dean-O's. The "Executioner" pizza is our family's favorite, and they buzz around that box like a pack of staving hyenas. more

Good! 11/30/2008

After traveling for two days straight- we were in the mood for something good!! At the recommendation of our concierge- we tried Dean O's pizza there in Lafayette, Lousiana. It was easy to find and fairly priced. The food was okay and we enjoyed the opportunity to taste their pizza claim to fame! more

Bring all your friends 5/16/2007

Definitely primo pizza. A unique, thin crust and unusual delightful toppings. The kids get plain cheese or pepperoni and they love Deano's chicken tenders too - they are meaty and good. My spouse and I argue over our favorites, the Marie LaVeaux with crabmeat and the Crawfish a la Deano's, so we get a half-and-half. You can get four different toppings if you wish - how cool is that!? Service is always excellent. Deano's is a place we go back to again and again - and we bring our friends. Pros: Amazing pizza, great service, great value more

The pizza was good. The service was excellent! And the prices were astounding. It is affordable enough to take your whole family out for a night of gourmet pizza-eating fun! The only thing I would change is the parking. There is not enough of it. more

this place has got it from pastas to pizzas. a fun friendly energetic waitstaff with smiles and quickness. the food here is great! Believe the hype. Pros: family run. extra parking across busy street. Cons: extra parking acroos busy street.... I know. more

This really is the best pizza in town. These pizzas are cooked w/ everything fresh and it just melts in your mouth its so good make u want to eat a whole one alone :) but not only is the pizza good the poboys and pastas are great. I recommend this to everyone. more

Unique Pizza Experience 7/1/2005

Want pizza that is unmatched in the city of Lafayette? Deano's is the only stop. Sure it looks really shady, sure it looks kinda like a biker bar from the outside, but it serves some incredible Italian food and even more delicious pizza. I miss it already. Pros: Pizza, Variety Cons: Parking more

Deano's is an institution in Lafayette but they haven't let success go to their head. The pizza is terrific every time we go. To say they don't scrimp on toppings would be an understatment; they put the national pizza chains to shame. My favorite pizzas are the Tee Rex, Cajun Canaille and Pizza of the Month special "Blackened Shrimp" and "Jacques Boudreaux". I have also tried their Lasagna Lafayette which is incredible. Yes, there isn't enough parking and service can be a bit slow during busy times but the staff is friendly and the food is worth the wait. Also, this place is GREAT for kids!!! I don't know why people like this place 3/2/2005

The pizza is average at best. Sure they have many different kinds (some are just a novelty), but the sauce and crust are nothing specual. The service is almost always slow. more
