My mother commited suicide on December 13, 2006, it was a devastating shock to all of us, most of the family had to come from out of state. Upon a neighbor's recommendation, my father had my mom sent to Deal's Funeral Home. We were not sure if my mom would be able to have an open casket or not and we had a lot of concerns about how she would look, what would she wear etc, since most of the family could not get there to make the arrangements and my dad was in complete shock. A wonderful friend of the family picked out a beautiful dress for my mom and Deal's funeral home took care of the rest. Upon arriving at the funeral home, we were met at the door by David Deal, the owner, who made us all feel like a family member. He managed to have an open casket and made my mom beautiful, David was respectfully present, nearby if you needed him, but not overbearing. He was there with a hug when needed, a tissue or a soft drink when needed. The casket and funeral and burial was beautiful and just what my mom would have wanted. David and his staff were AWESOME, in a very difficult time in our lives. There is no way in the world that I can Thank Deals Funeral Home enough for what they did for my family and for my mom, there is just not enough room for me to write all of the wonderful things that I feel, and for me to express my gratitude to David Deal for being so wonderful in such a horrible time. Thank You.
Pros: Awesome staff, clean, professional, kind, everything right there for you, before you knew you even needed it.
