DePasquale the Spa

This was absolutely the worst hair experience I have ever had. I went in with quite a few pictures of a very simple hairstyle. I booked with their highest level hairstylist to ensure I received a great cut and style. The style I asked for was a side swept bang with loose curls on the bottom. The stylist chopped my bangs within 1.5 of my scalp and then turned my head upside down and "scrunched" my hair about 1/4 of the way dry and told me I was done. It was 95 degrees out and I had a party to attend. My hair looked insane..really..INSANE (tight fuzzy crunchy curls up to my scalp and choppy short bangs). I asked the manager to find someone to fix it and she sent a girl over who blew the hair straighter with a brush and then told me if I needed it curled I was going to have to do it myself. OUTRAGEOUS, . I went to this salon expecting a high end experience ( for over $100 a haircut thats what I should get!!) and ended up with worse service than a walmart super cuts salon more

I've always been hesitant about spending a lot of money on getting my hair done. I used to be the "hair from a box" kinda girl. But then I became a professional and realized I needed a new look. And I needed my look to make me look older. So I gave in and treated myself to a nice salon. Let me just say, it really does make all the difference. For the first time I had my hair highlighted and I looked like a different person. The stylist knew exactly what to do with my hair to make it fit my face. I walked out feeling 100x more sexy than when I walked in. Since then I refuse to go cheap with my hair because I feel that it is well worth the money. more

I go here to get my haircut - and while it is expensive, believe me, it's worth it. I have never had someone spend so much time with me, making sure she knew exactly what I wanted, and something that would look great on me. I would recommend this place to anyone. Everyone is very friendly, and it's a great place to go! more

you can't beat it for a spa in this area- highly recommended by all of my friends as well. Their teaching institute is a great place to go and get inexpensive services, too! more

I would say that Depasquale's is one of the best salons and spas in the tri state area. I am not a professional spa-er but have gone to quite a few. The place is soo classy, the treatments are wonderful. They serve you goodies and beverages while you are relaxing in the spa. I have gotten my hair highlighted there once and it came out exactly how I had pictured it to be. The only thing is for me it's too far, since I live several towns away. more
