Don't eat here if your hungry 11/1/2005

The atmosphere is great and romantic in this cozy restaurant, but the food is lacking. Serving sizes are super small so if you are really hungry prepare to order a lot and spend a lot. The food was good but we were very disappointed with the lack of information from our waiter and his lack of attention. He sat us at a table that was dirty and after we got our food he never came back to refill drinks or anything till it was time to pay. I know for sure we will not be returning to this restaurant anytime soon. more

  • The Scene
This cozy, intimate restaurant receives floods of light during the day and glows under candlelight in the evening. Glossy dark wood floors bring a shine to the Spanish art that hangs above and clay serving pots and painted ceramics give the place an authentic feel. The sangria is fruit-heavy and refreshing and compliments the platter of cheeses that feature a Spanish Gorgonzola, goat cheese and Spain's famous manchego variety. With a wedge of crusty bread and the jamon, it creates a satisfying light lunch. Enticing dinner options are the gambas al ajillo served with tender shrimps and hot olive oil-and-garlic dressing and the tiny meatballs in a creamy saffron sauce with fluffy paella rice.
