Unless your time isn?t valuable don?t bother calling D.E.P. Builders Supply /De Soto Electrical. . I had used this company in the past and they had rescheduled a few appoints we had set up to get bids for electrical work and I should have let that be a warning to me. I recently purchased a home that needs all new electrical and HVAC I proceeded to called De Soto Electrical and spoke to Jerry Solomon, the owner, about getting a bid. I told him everything I needed and took off work to meet with him at the time we had set up, 4/1/11 at 9:30 a.m. About an hour before our appointment he called me and said he was having issues making it out and could we reschedule for 4/4/11 and 10:30 a.m. and I agreed. I again took off work to meet with Jerry at our pre set time and ? hour past our scheduled meeting I called his office to see where he was. The lady who answered the phone said he had several appointments in my area today and wasn?t sure where he was and gave me his cell phone. I called his cell phone and got his voicemail and left a message to see if he was running late. A ? hour after that, an hour after our appointment, and no return call I again called Jerry?s cell phone and left another voicemail. I then proceeded to call his office again and the same lady who gave me his cell phone asked me to hold on. Jerry, the owner of the company, then answered the phone and said he had something come up and wasn?t going to be able to make it again and maybe I should have someone else come and give me a bid. I said well ok and he responded ok and hung up on me. Obviously this guy believes his time is more important than anyone else?s and has a lack of respect for past customers and possible future ones. I am surprised that the owner of any company would have this little respect for others times, I would suggest using another company just like the owner of D.E.P. Builders Supply / De Soto Electrical suggested.
