De Garmo St Dump

I recently visited this dump thinking the worse because I \r had read the review. I got to the scale and the person\r was very polite, ask me a couple of questions about my load, I noticed they have price sheets on their window\r they have different rates according to your waste.\r After searching around for dumps and landfills this is the best deal there is. price, facility, service, and very convenient, 48$ a ton not bad when most of the other\r dumps are 55$ 60$ and they charge you extra fees.\r The manager Jeff Sabia was very helpful he answer\r every question i had about recycling my waste.\r they also have a minimum charge depending on your\r vehicle. and judging from the line of trucks waiting to get\r in this place is definitely not a ripoff.\r \r \r \r \r Pros: great service more

I went to dump a load of green there a few days ago. Alex at the weigh in booth tried to charge me for construction material instead of green, even though it was all green. I talked to his supervisor Toni Alverez and showed him pictures of the load taken from my I phone. He did not want to see them. We went to the yard supervisor who saw me unload and Toni Alverez said he did not trust his supervisors word to confirm that it was green. I called his Supervisor Jeff Selva, and he was no help at all. I believe that because business is slow at this dump that the workers have been instructed by the supervisors to try to sneak in unjust dumping fees. Its happened the last 2 times I have dumped there. It doesn't help that most of the workers are illegal and don't speak english!. This company needs to be investigated be some goverment agencies and please write reviews if you have had the same experiences I have. more
