The front area reeks of bleach to cover the smell of mold. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you have allergies, children, or enough money to stay on the road until you hit Wilmington or Myrtle Beach. The owner seems to be the worst at managing his people and has a condescending way about him when talking to women. The absolute worst place I've stayed traveling up the coast from Florida. The above 'recommendation' from Robyn Galbos is probably a co-owner of the franchise and has no business commenting here. more

This was one of the worst hotel experiencing of my life! We had pre-booked multiple rooms for several family and friends when they were Holiday Inn Express. We arrived to find sign changed to Days Inn. No notice. Guests were driving around lost & confused. Upon arrival we encountered multiple issues. No elevator. Hot hallways. Mold smelling rooms. Dried blood on bathroom floor. Hot rooms. General Manager, Scott, was very argumentative and made multiple excuses. He said, ""yeah, we had a roof top unit go out earlier, but there isn't much you can do now on a Friday evening. Can't help that it is 95 outside."" Extremely poor customer service. Upon departure we accidentally left an article of clothing hanging on back of the bathroom door. Returned to get it. Housekeeping had already stripped the room. No one had seen the article of clothing. An hour later manager called and said, ""found article kicked under the bed."" - yeah right! Very dissatisfied! Beware. more
