unsatisfactory 10/2/2011

Do not recommend this hotel . We stayed one night during Cornfest OCT 2011 . The room had very strong insecticide smell . We opened window to air the room out only to find no screens over the windows . We had to leave window open anyway because smell was that bad . It was late and we were exhausted so we just put up with it ....I 'll never make that mistake again . By morning my nose and eyes were burning . Upon check out the clerk verified the room and several next to it had bee just fumigated . I voiced my concern over renting out rooms that had just been treated ,but clerk just shrugged and ignored . Since returning home I have found this hotel had bed bugs last month ! Be sure to inspect room before staying ! more

Don't go!! 5/17/2009

This hotel is small, and needs overhauling. The rooms smelled, and needed some remodeling (especially bathrooms). The one elevator was a VERY slow ride, and thought I would get stuck every time I was in it. staff was not mean, but not nice either. I would stay somewhere else. more
