In 01/08, I took my husband's suit to this cleaners to be ready for his father's funeral. When I went to pick it up, the morning of the afternoon funeral, they were not able to locate it. As a result, we had to purchase a new suit. I called the cleaners 2 days later, and they had found the suit. I asked them to reimburse us for the purchase of the new suit, and they refused. In 03/08, I took them to court, and won the case. They were ordered to pay 75% of the suit's purchase price, plus court costs. They were given 21 days to pay. As of 04/08, they have refused to adhere to the court's ruling. It is very upsetting that, as a consumers, we follow the rules, and still get taken advantage of. I will not just let this go. I will go back to court, and fight them the legal way. Also, it does no good, if a business takes advantage of us, and we simply stop doing business with them. We need to let other people know how they choose to conduct business, whether it is good or bad.
