I travel all over for my job and I have to say, Daybreak is the best salon and spa I have been to! The service, the prices, the friendliness of all the girls and the owners, as well as the relaxing treatments I receive in the spa. I am so happy I found daybreak! more

I LOVED the Stress Relieving treatment and make-up application but was not totally satisfied with having my hair done, the stylist(s) curled my hair then asked me what I wanted and they seem to do the same type of styling. more

Perfect Pedicure Always 10/17/2011

I can't say it enough how relaxing it is to go to Daybreak Spa & Salon. I get gift cards from family members & friends; and cannot wait to go. I love saving up the gift cards; and then being able to use them throughout the year. It makes me sad to have to use them; but the experience is always worth it. I can't wait to come back again soon hopefully. I had an emergency in the family; and had to cancel my appointment; but Daybreak is always accomodating. They were able to reschedule my appointment for the next day. The pedicures are always great no matter who does them. The experience at Daybreak is always the best! more

I used to drive to Plmouth for a great spa experieince. I don't anymore after finding Daybreak. I have received their pedicures and manicures and have been totally satisfied! Their staff is awesome! I can't wait to try a massage there. more

The service was great. They listened to what I wanted and gave me an excellent consultation where I was go end options and opinions of the best way to achieve the result I was looking for. I was offered a free hand and arm massage while my foils were in. The lead colorist offered her opinions and assistance in my consultation and came to check on my results throughout the time. My result was great and my stylist was outgoing and friendly. Will definitely continue to use this salon. more

Owner Message

  • The history of Daybreak Salon began in 1973, when Mary Toffoli opened "Mary's Beauty Boutique" in Southgate, Michigan. Two years later, Mary married Gary Rushlow and soon changed the name of their salon to "Headway". For over 30 years, Mary and Gary owned and operated their salon while raising three children, Jacob, Jerad and Jenee. Jerad and Jenee followed their parents into the family business and in the fall of 2007, a new chapter was born with the grand opening of "Daybreak Salon & Spa" in Woodhaven, Michigan. Here at Daybreak, the tradition of great talent, professionlism and history of treating each client as a guest continues for the next generation.
