This may not be the most modern and state of the art facility in Chicago, but for me, part of the charm and appeal is that it's not a chain, or a cold, impersonal mega theater. Family owned theaters like this are a dying breed that should be celebrated. I will admit that the screen is on the small side and the sound system is not state of the art, but the prices are very reasonable and it has vintage photos and pictures lining the walls and takes you back to a simpler, happier time. The theater features all new releases for a lot less than the bigger theatres.
