Davis Plastic Surgery

Just had my second procedure with Dr. Davis and I am thrilled. He does a wonderful job of making sure you understand exactly what to expect before, during and after surgery. The staff make you feel right at home (you will love the patient coordinator Gretta) and will answer any and all questions that you have. For both procedures my recovery has been minimal and very manageable. Dr.Davis and staff have exceeded my expectations for the second time and I will be back. more

I met Dr. Davis for the first time 10 years ago, when my mother was dianosed with breast cancer and had to have a mastectomy. The general surgeon recommended Dr. Davis, and we remain ever thankful that he did. He was so compassionate when she was really falling apart. Because of the excellent reconstuction that he did, my mother felt whole again. So when I decided I wanted to have breast augmentation, I chose Dr. Davis, and I was not disappointed. His staff was so kind and accommodating! Dr. Davis was just as I remembered him, friendly, and very knowledgeable. He spent so much time with me answering all my questions ( and I had a huge list !). After surgery, I was a nervous Nellie. I must have called every day about something or other. But his nurse always got right back to me and and had me see Dr. Davis if there was a potential problem ( like one breast being larger than the other... I found out this was normal and it went down just like he promised!) My whole experience was GREAT and I would highly recommend Dr. Davis because his results are great and he and his staff are very professional and caring. more

Don't trust this man. He did good work but when I presented with a problem, he blew it off as a tennis injury. I even called back with ct results and he wouldn't see me. Told me to put heat on it. Found another doctor who spent lots of time with me reviewing a battery of tests. I am currently waiting on biopsy results from a peri implant mass. He is good at his work but if you have a post op issue, you may die before he will see you. He told me my mass was a rib. more

As a man, it seems very hush hush to go to a plastic surgeon, so I am breaking the silence. I have had a problem area I am not going to name, but I have found through research is quite common in men, and I wanted to have fixed. I am in my mid thirties and I am sorry I wanted so long to see someone about it, but I can't say enough great things about Davis Plastic Surgery. Excellent Staff, Excellent Doctor, Excellent office practices. I was comfortable and confident about my surgery and even able to finance it through the office. It was a great experience and I am thrilled with my new body. Plastic Surgery isn't just for women, everyone should get to feel good about themselves. I first went to Dr Davis about two years ago for a breat augmentation. He did an amazing job! I never thought about posting a review online as I was not a member of CitySearch, and he already had nothing but positive reviews. However, I have now been back to his office for Botox, Cool Sculpting, and Radiesse fillers. I feel so strongly positive about the work he and his staff have done, that I feel like I need to add a review. \r \r Breast Augmentation - After wanting a breast augmentation for 13 years, I finally decided to get one. I was a little apprehensive as their are always horror stories on the web. I went to see Dr Davis and immediately felt comfortable with him. He did an amazing job! My breast look and feel natural!\r \r Cool Sculpting - Veronica performed my procedure. She stayed with me for the first part of the procedure to ensure that I was comfortable and relaxed. Unfortunately, I don't feel like I have seen great results from this procedure, but I do not blame Veronica or the proecedure. I have gained some weight making it difficult to see the results. Now that it is bathing suit season, I hope to get motivated to get my weight back down and to finally enjoy the satisfaction of seeing the results in a more dramatic manner.\r \r Botox and Radiesse - Jenna has been phenomenal with helping me chose the best methods to de-emphasize my flaws. Most recently, she has given me some Botox and added some fillers below my eyes. In all of the times that she has had to inject a needle into the skin on my face, she has never once caused a bruise! She is always gentle and cautious. Additionally, she is very friendly and fun making my visits even more enjoyable.\r \r I highly recommend Dr. Davis, Jenna, and the rest of his staff! Extremely pleased! Went for a breast augmentation after visting 2 other local plastic surgeons and immediantly felt comfortable with Dr.Davis and his staff. I didn't feel rushed and got all of my questions answered and then some. I was almost deterred because of the wait to get into surgery (over 2 months!) until my husband reminded me that it was a good sign he couldn't just fit me in next week. As I was considering a breast augmentation (I was a 36A), I visited four plastic surgeons in the Raleigh area for consultations. I was afraid that I would not be able to see a difference in the work of the surgeons by looking at the before and after pictures...boy, was I wrong!! Dr. Davis' pics were absolutely the best! In addition, both he and his staff made a great first and lasting impression. The choice to go with Dr. Davis was easy! Everyone in the office is so easy (and fun) to talk to. Dr. Davis takes his time in explaining procedures and answers any and all questions honestly. He also makes himself available for questions via email if you forget to ask something. On surgery day, Dr. Davis reviews everything with you before the procedure, then calls to personally check on you later in the evening. The recovery was very easy...I barely even needed to take the pain medication. I cannot be more happy with Dr Davis' craftsmanship! Breat augmentation is an art, and Dr. Davis has it mastered. He brought me to a 36D, and I get compliments all of the time. After a recent breast exam from my gynecologist, he told me (in the most sincere and non-creepy way) that mine was one of the most natural-looking, symmetrical breast augmentations he has ever seen (and he sees alot)! They look and feel amazing, and my husband loves them :) I have no doubt that as soon as you meet with Dr. Davis, you will choose him as your plastic surgeon and you will be thrilled with the results! I have always been very self conscious about the size difference in my breasts, and after many years of wanting breast augmentation and breast lift, I finally decided to schedule a consultation. After getting 2 opinions I decided to go with Dr. Davis. There was really no question about my choice to go with D. Davis, as he was very informative and helpful in ensuring I got exactly what I wanted. I was able to schedule my surgery and I am currently 2 weeks post surgery and could not be happier with the results. A co-worker recommnded Dr. Davis when I started thinking about augmentation. I made sure to do my homework, have other consultations, ask all the 'right' questions. I have a tough work schedule - but the office girls were very accommodating. His consultation was by far the most thorough and informative. The entire process was fairly streamlined and pretty easy! I am very happy with my results and will definitely talk to Dr. Davis in a few years when i'm ready for another step :) Hope this helps someone else in the same position I was in a fw months ago. more

I went in to Dr. Davis to see about getting a rhinoplasty to correct a hump in my nose (19 year old male here). Immediately after my consultation, I knew that Dr. Davis was the right surgeon for my procedure. He was very patient and kind, and his office staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Additionally, as a price-conscious college student, I was pleased to see that his fees were significantly less than the other surgeons I looked at, despite his 30 years of practice. Although the first couple of days of recovery were rough, ultimately I am very happy with the surgery. Dr. Davis rightly chose a conservative course of action, correcting the hump and giving me a bold, straight nose without risking negatively affecting the septum. I am very happy with my procedure, and I would definitely recommend Dr. Davis to others. more

dr davis and staff are very inviting and caring , they were professional without making the place feel snooty , that was great for me because im not rich just an average person looking for some improvements i was hesitent to even see a surgeon because i could not afford to be talked into other procedures , well there is no problem whatsoever with that at this office you say what you are wanting and dr davis and his staff help you get it thats it so i was put at ease by all . thank you dr davis and all his sweet staff . i will be back. :) Pros: great care and results Cons: a bit of a drive for me but worth it! more

I am not one to write or talk about plastic surgery - but I wanted to share my experience with Dr. Davis. I was very nervous and hesitant when researching and calling offices to find out about liposuction. I was worried the doctors would start recommending all kinds of other surgeries that I couldn't afford - or didn't want. I almost cancelled my consultation about 4 times. I am really happy I didn't - my consultation was better than expected. Dr. Davis was a good listener and didn't try and sell me anything I didn't need or want. I am now only 3 weeks out from my tummy lipo but I am excited about the results and enjoy going in to see him. I wish I had done more research before I made my final choice to go to Dr Davis. I am left to question how (patient happiness) is defined to some.I went into this elective surgery to improve,and or enhance my body.I came out with unwelcome results after having my surgery there.I will never speak mean,unlawful,or unfair of anyone if at all possible. Nor can all fault, (IF ANY) will be placed on the surgeon.I will however give my opinion and speak my mind when due.I feel unwanted results in cosmetic surgery are not a constant thing, but in my situation it happened.Also,kind words make a world of difference to a patient in these situations.(SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT FOR FUTURE REFERENCE).I will at this point move forward to get the results I desire.Again, this is totally the opinion and view of what happened to me there.And it is my opinion that careful research is done before making a final decision on any medical procedure and who or where its done.I give five stars because the office an more

Dr. Davis in particular, but also his staff, were exceptional! From the day I first visited, wondering if I could benefit from having my eyelids improved, to the post op care and now full recovery, the whole experience has been great and exceeded my expectations. I really feel that my ability to interview and secure new positions in corporations (so focused on youth!) is enhanced with my new look - it shaved at least 10-15 years from my appearance! Thank you, Dr. Davis, for giving me a new appearance, which I think will lead to a better life all around! My experience with my breast augmentation has been excellent. I debated doing this for 11 years, and am so glad I finally took the plunge. Dr. Davis and his staff are wonderful; they have been nothing but supportive and compassionate from the first consult through the whole process to now, almost 4 months out. I went on 3 consults and by far, Dr. Davis and staff were the best. One of the plastic surgeons wanted to do it under local with sedation and the other wouldn't let me meet with him until I met with his patient care coordinator first. I really liked that Dr. Davis was so available; I figured that if I needed him post-op, he would have time for me. I was also glad to have an anesthesiologist (i.e., an anesthesiology doctor) rather than a nurse anesthetist running my case. I love the outcome--my breasts are full but natural looking. I went with saline, 300L & 360R (I was really uneven; now they are pretty darn near perfect). I had a transaxial incision and LOVE it. Recovery was easier than expected; I was back running 4 miles at only 10 days out (wearing two sports bras, but running nonetheless!) I'm going back to him this fall or next spring for blepharoplasty. One of my co-workers has also had him perform her blepharoplasty and she looks wonderful. After I had kids my breasts just sort of lost their shape. I wanted to try to look the way I used to. When I started to look for someone to do my breasts, I looked on the internet at a lot of plastic surgeons. I kept coming back to Dr. Davis because I liked his pictures. I found someone who looks just like me and her results were awesome! So natural and not like a barbie doll. A friend told me to go to 2 doctors, so I went to another one. But the experience was bad. First off when I did see him he was not great and very expensive. I had lots of questions and he was in a rush. So then I went to Dr. Davis. The staff was real friendly and Dr. Davis was so nice and spent a lot of time with me and answered the ton of questions I had. The day of surgery I was very nervous but everyone was so kind and I did not get sick after going under like I did when i had my appendix out. The best part of all is how great my breasts lokk! I had my breast augmentation done in October of 2008, and Dr, Davis did an amazing job at a very reasonable price. I did a lot of research before my surgery, and found that Dr. Davis came with the best recommendations. I even heard from a woman who was a nurse that also chose Dr. Davis because she heard through the healthcare grapevine that he was the man to go to in North Carolina. Dr. Davis got me in very quickly, and was very honest and open about everything. Everyone in his office was very knowledgeable and made me feel completely at ease with their kindness towards me. My surgery was a wonderful experience, and the privacy that Dr. Davis's office afforded was a wonderful benefit. I had a speedy recovery, and the results are gorgeous. EXACTLY what I had in mind. After seeing 3 other surgeons in the area, I feel so lucky to have found Dr. Davis. I received first-rate service from beginning to end. My results have far exceeded my expectations and I am so pleased that I waited for the best surgeon and staff. During a time of anxiety and such uncertainty, I can't tell you how much I appreciated Dr. Davis getting me in so quickly for a consultation and then treatment for my melanoma. I am a minority female who admittedly ""frowns"" upon cosmetic surgery but finally decided (after much hesitation, prayer, diet and excercising) to have a tummy tuck after delivering my child years ago that left me with a very weak, flabby stomach that wouldn't GO AWAY!! I finally decided in January 2007 to proceed with a consult after my own investigative research. I contacted Dr. Davis's office and had my consultation the same month...by February I was scheduled for my surgery. Why??!! Because from start to finish I found Dr. Davis and his team to be efficient, professional and pleasant. I, as other reviewers, found Dr. Davis to have excellent credentials but the single thing that won me over was his sincerity. Dr. Davis made sure that my expectations of the surgery results were realistic even going as far as to HONESTLY tell me ""some but not all of your stretch marks will go away and there will be a significant scar that would visually improve over time"". He was ""real"" and didn't tie it up with a bow or play on my insecurities in the hope of obtaining ""the perfect body"". He then went on to remark on what he felt was the unsafe practices on some of these reality tv plastic surgery shows by performing various procedures simultaneously..that's the moment I KNEW Dr. Davis was the doctor for me and that I wanted to proceed with little or no doubt. In closing, the surgery exceeded my expectations..scary? yes...painful? yes...but I recovered MUCH quickly and less painfully than I expected and I give MUCH praise and thanks to Dr. Davis and his team. I would not hesitate to refer anyone to Dr. Davis and although my plastic surgery days are over, he and his team made it truly a safe and satisfying experience.
