Davis Academy Driving School

I posted several weeks ago on several social media sites about the failure of this business to pay for advertising in the student newspaper I advise in suburban Sacramento. The owner got in touch with me the day I submitted those reviews and said the problem was that I hadn't sent a hard copy of the newspaper that included the ad. Although the owner had not replied to nearly a dozen previous queries, I immediately sent a copy of the newspaper with another copy of the invoice. ... This was two-plus months ago. I contacted the owner several more times, and he said my student newspaper would be paid in the next pay period. ... That was five weeks ago. No payment has been made. The Davis Driving Academy is oddly situated in downtown Davis. It's near Sophie's and such, but have almost no advertising on the doors, which made it hard to find. Once inside, you're quickly reminded of a insurance office... just not as posh. The people are nice though, and helpful. It's a competitive world of driving out in Davis and these great teachers just want to teach you the proper way. more
