the SF symphony is such a great place. they do concerts for teens as well as for adults. i brought my kid here to listen to a symphony and now he is so interested in playing an instrument. did i mention how well these musicians play?? they play great! more

Not My kind of thing 8/23/2005

I went to the San Franciso Symphony at a young age and I did not like it at all. I almost fell asleep. I remember that the people placed some good jumpy pieces, but that was basically it for me. This just wasn't my thing to go to I would say. more

One of the fine attractions in the City. 8/20/2005

The San Francisco Symphony was truly an amazing experience, and a class act. I wouldn't have traded my experience for anything. The proformance was amazing, and the seats were very comfortable for the long proformance. Located near City Hall, this is a must see for any music lover, to see the true appreciation of great, fine music. Parking is my main complaint, but in terms of the San Francisco Symphony, it was truly amazing. more

Fantastic Music Hall 8/20/2005

Davies Symphony Hall is the most impressive concert hall that I have ever been in. I went to listen to the San Francisco Symphony there and they were fantastic. The music was very crisp and clean and the design of the inside of the hall was just amazing. If you want a really pleasurable music experience, go here! more

Excellent Venue for the Symphony 8/17/2005

As the home to the San Francisco Symphony, Davies Symphony hall is one of the most prestigious concert halls in the country. With comfortable seats that almost invite the more bored audience members to sleep, the hall is the perfect setting for music. The acoustics are great thanks in part to movable plastic panels hanging over the orchestra. If you can manage, get the seats behind the orchestra for an unforgettable and unique view. more
