David's Gym & Fitness Ctr

Every summer my son and I work out at Dave's Gym. It might not be the cleanest gym I have ever worked out at, but it has more equipment than any other gym I have ever been to. I found Dave senior to be very polite and friendly. I also went down for school vacation week (February) hoping to get a workout in at Daves only to find it had closed down. I was hoping maybe it was reopening in the old A&P up the street, but no luck. I think this gym was a great place to workout because they had so many pieces of equipment and loose weights that you never had to wait around for someone to finish up . Also, the members I spoke to were very friendly. I hope it reopens because I will be there with my son to workout for the summer. Pros: Plenty of equipment Cons: Dirty more

So one morning I show up and there s a sign on the door saying CLOSED. What!!! There was no call letting me know that. This gym is not the best, it was just the closet to my place. Very dirty and the people not so friendly. I want to know if anyone knows what is going on?! For others who have a membership, we should get are money back don't you think!! I was on vacation in Chatham and wanted to work out. I called around and got some prices for day passes. This was the cheapest at $12.00, so I decided to go. I drove 20 minutes out there only to find the doors closed and no signage stating why. I called the number, thinking maybe they had moved, and all I got was a recording saying they were either closed (NO KIDDING!!) or all lines were busy.It told me to check the website, which I could not find when I returned home. I never made it inside, but would be very hesitant to give it another shot. This was in February during school vacation week. I go to a real gym back home-Powerhouse in Webster, and they never close.
