David's Bridal

I am not a girly girl that had any idea what I wanted in a wedding dress.. - I went to David's Bridal for my dress. Most of my family and friends are out of state so I went by myself on a Saturday. My consultant was very nice and supportive. After a few hours trying on dresses I picked one to be finished. I only had 2 months before the big day. The next day I had serious buyers remorse. I called as soon as they opened on Sunday and talked to someone. They were super nice and said it was ok, made an appt for Monday night. I came in and the store was completely different. It was almost a ghost town. The consultant was super super nice again (different girl). I tried on a few more dresses and immediately found 2 good contenders. \r \r I finally picked THE dress. And am really happy. It was really nice for them to let me do an exchange when it is clearly explained that it is a final sale. \r \r Every person I dealt with at the store was awesome. \r \r Also- I would recommend going on a week day - vs going on the weekend- the noise and crowd is overwhelming on the weekend - but that isn't the stores fault. \r \r Hope this helps.\r more

I admit I was wary after reading the other reviews here. I chose this particular location because it was close to my parish, thus convenient. The only thing I could possibly complain about was that the consultant working with me was simultaneously working with another bride, but that didn't bother me at all. The consultant was very helpful and very friendly. She listened to what I wanted and suggested things I might like or things I might not like, she even humored my friends when they picked out a couple dresses from the catalog that didn't match what I had said I was looking for. I didn't end up buying while I was there but if I'm unable to find a cheaper dress I love as much as the one I found at David's, I'll be back as soon as I possibly can. more

I went to David's Bridal for my wedding dress. My consultant was kind and patient for a short time, seeming to get more pushy by the day. I wanted to be sure about my final decisions on the dress, shoes, and many other accesories. When I asked a few questions after purchasing my wedding items, the consultant glanced at a co-worker and they both snickered and tried to hold back a giggle! I was so uncomfortable, upset and embarrased I ran out the door. After spending a lot of money in one day and feeling nothing but bad about it I would not recomend this shop to anyone. more

This is the second wedding that I have been in and the Brides have used David's Bridal and so far both times have been a stressful experience. You have to wait for your apt, but the consultants stand around. And this is the second wedding where they have given me the wrong bridesmaid dress. This is the second wedding that I have been in where they have been icky to the bride. Will not go there again. Will shop somewhere else. Both experiences have been 8 1/2 year apart. Thought they would be different by now, but they are not. Plus the consultants don't know how to help a bride pick a dress for her figure or frame/stature. They should be taught those things. They really don't know what they are doing there. The prices are what brings people there. I guess that is a good thing. Good prices. Pros: Prices are Good. Cons: Bad Service and Attitude all the time. more
