David's Bridal

I just got done shopping @ David's bridal, not only were they nice, but when I explained my issues at another shop she found me everything I needed that day! My wedding is in 1 month and they got me all my stuff and matching flowergirl today! more

The only good thing about this store is that they have dresses available off the rack. However, if these don't fit perfectly, do NOT get them altered here. I tried on 2 sizes of a dress - one fit just about perfect and the other was way too big. They convinced me to get the larger one so that they could alter it 'perfectly.' I believed them - after all, they were charging and arm and a leg for alterations. Needless to say, the dress now fits worse than the first one...even after they have altered it not once, but twice. I'm out $200 and have a dress with a crooked pendant, bad stitching, and bunching on the sides. These errors are so evident that even my husband saw them and pointed them out when I tried it on at home. So much for my perfectly fitted dress. I am sorely disappointed in this store and will never, as far as it depends on me, purchase from here again. more

A friend of mine was getting married and two of the 4 of us in the wedding party were pregnant. In addition, the wedding was 3 months away so we knew we needed to look fast but we didn't want to spend a lot. As soon as we walked in the door we were asked if we had an appointment. We did not and then wer asked when the wedding was. We told the salesclerk and were told in a VERY huffy voice - You have to find something today you did not leave us any time to get the dresses and then when we said 2 of us were pregnant we got MORE attitude. I would NEVER EVER go back to the one in Grand Rapids and I have heard of similar things happening to others at David's Bridal locations. more

When I went dress shopping last year, I went to Davids Bridal. I found the help to be annoying and demanding. They wanted me to sign up for a tux place where they kept on calling me for months. The second time I went, I finally got a nice person to wait on me but overall, I found the staff to be high pressure. I didn't buy the dress there but I my sister bought her bridesmaid dress there though and it came in early so that was a plus. more
