David Sanders Dance Dynamics

I have read some of these reviews and I can't believe what some of them are saying. David and the entire staff at Dance Dynamics is great. I danced there for 20 Years and still believe I got the best dance education I could have. more

i personaly went to this studio. i can tell you i was happy for the first couple of years there. this was before i reslized my parents were loosing more money then nessasary and i lost my love to dance. i was constantly put in the back becuase my parents werent friends with the owner. while there i experienced ALOT of drama, the girls there can be very mean. they have also used the same coreografy for 17 years if you look at there dance stomp to my beat, yet they are still paying coriography fees. david has also started his own dance competuition wich he cares more about then his own students.... i moved on to a a new studuio and here my teachers actually sit down to each with us.....david would never do that. im not trying to tell you all the bad but i thought you should know what your getting yourself into. and dont try to lie and say this isnt true becuase you know it is . try other studios before you make your final descision. theyre are other VERY good studios out there and remember if you REALLY love dance (or your child really loves it) winning isnt everything. by the way your not the best studio on longisland im sure royalenova, micheal fararos and northeast dance acadamy can crush your studio.....even worse if you would get new dances!. I just want to point out that 'agreedwitu' is clearly a child. From a gramatical stand point there is no way that a rational and intellectual being could have written that. So do you really want to take your advice from a clearly bitter student? Teenagers are going to believe what they want when they dont get their own way. I think its funny that people can sit here and try to take away the excellence that David Sanders Dance Dynamics produces year in and year out. more

I personally don't know who to disagree with more. I'm absolutely appalled at what you people are saying. try asking your kids what they think about the studio. as far as i am concerned you don't know what goes on once they step into that room. all you know are the stories your children tell you and you know that at that age, 100% of the time they misinterpret any situation and make it their own. David knows how to choose the right dancers for the right pieces. All of his years of experience, you think he does not know what they look for out there? He treats his dancers as if they were in the real world only to prepare them for what is yet to come. Most children have grown in extreme amounts since starting at David Sanders. And on the topic of the children who are not in company, they get just as much treatment as any company member. They get some of the finest training as well. The people who teach the company, teach the recreational children, so don't think they get ""pushed aside"" because they do not. But lets think about something. How much money a year does a recreational child pay compared to a company child? Does the company maybe deserve a little bit more? And on the topic of a child thinking that they are not good enough to be in a certain piece. Maybe they have not worked hard enough to earn that spot. If you work hard and show it, you'll get everything you deserve and vise versa. David Sanders Dance Dynamics brings you some of the finest training on Long Island. more

i cnt believe how crule some of u people can be david sanders is an amazing studio and i would never go any where else!! i LOVE dancing with them its the best EVER! we did AMAZING AT NATIONALS! stomp 1 my beat! well anyway if u are one of those people who keep sayng that redicules stuff stop because ur the ones who are jelouse. I think all the professional dancers, teachers and studio owners that David Sanders has trained would find wantmymoniesworth's review quite laughable. Jeff Schecter is currently on Broadway starring in A Chorus Line and is a veteran of many Broadway shows. Pros: Great instruction for all ages, levels & abilities at lower prices then almost every school that I've researched. Cons: Class schedule is packed, so if you're looking for private instruction you may not be able to get it here. more

although this dance school wins many competitions they are very unfair to their students. unless u know the owner personally or know someone who knows the owner your child will be pushed to the side. if you look at his dances he consistently uses the same kids leaving out some great dancers because he is not friends with their parents. your child will pay the same tuition as these other kids but not receive the same instruction. dance is supposed to increase your childs view of themselves not send them home crying and asking whats wrong with me. why dont I get any good parts when Im better than some of the kids that did? this studio is also mainly a tap school. if your child wants to some day be on broadway they need to attend a school that is more focused on ballet, pointe, modern and musical theatre. If your child just wants to dance for fun and not compete or someday be on broadway then this dance school is fine. Pros: good for little ones just to have fun Cons: ruins childs self image if they want to compete and you dont personally know the owner more
